The hosts of this property were the easiest people to work with! It truly was a stress free rental. The property itself was directly on the ocean with easy beach access and the crashing sound of waves. The set up was homey and convenient. The only problem was that we didn't want to leave... The beds were extremely comfortable. There was a wall of DVDs to choose from if that is of interest. We lacked for nothing. The weekend provided needed relaxation and refreshment. Between the hosts and God's creation, it was a beautiful time.

Very friendly and welcoming
Ken was amazing to work with booking his home. He was very welcoming of us and our dog. Unfortunately we were not able to stay but his authenticity and kindness permeated through the emails. Without hesitation I would stay at his home if we have a trip to Brooking in the future.

Excellent Location and Friendly Owners
We came to Brookings on a quick last minute overnight vacation with our 3 kids. I called just a few hours before we were planning to arrive and they were able to accommodate us on such short notice. The owners were very hospitable and helpful. The home was comfortable and the owners provided a lot of extras- from beach towels for the hot tub, to firewood for the fireplace, to bottled waters in the fridge and extra toiletries in the bathroom. The views of the ocean from the house and patio were incredible. The path down to the beach was short and gently sloped and led to a nice sandy beach. We will definitely be back when we have more time to spend to enjoy this great location.

Everything we had hoped for
Easy path down to a wind free and at low tide great beach to walk, fantastic ocean view from the long patio and lawn chairs on the grass, large bedrooms, especially the master with T.V. plus the big screen T.V. in the very large living room not to mention a massive library of videos and tons of stocked games. Owners also provided so many, many condiments, soaps, towels, pantry items and even great binoculars. Close to shopping, restaurants, parks. My sister and brother in law from Tucson and I could not have chosen a more perfect place to meet up. Our ages range from 79 to 89. The owners of this property are special and have done a super job of pleasing, I think, all age groups.

Large windows and fantastic views of ocean. Tidepools and beaches. Two-bedroom home with king-size beds. A large living room with rock fireplace and two queen-size hide-a-beds. Full kitchen with refridgerator, dishwasher, electric smooth-top range with oven, microwave, coffee pot, and toaster. The full length patio overlooking the ocean incudes a porch swing, table and chairs, spa, outdoor fire-pit with adarondak chairs, barbeque grill and a picnic table. Large lawn with the best view on the coast. Short, gentle path to the beach. Room for small weddings
