House Sleeps6Bedrooms3Bathrooms2Minimum Stay2 nightsJarrett Creek Cottage is nestled on beautiful Jarrett Creek 15 minute drive from downtown Black Mountain and a 20 minute drive to Asheville Originally built at the turn of the century the cottage was dismantled and rebuilt with today s modern conveniences Most of the old growth lumber used in the original cottage was salvaged then used to build some of the custom furniture in the cottage today Owned by the third generation of the original owners Jarrett Creek Cottage is impeccably decorated The cottage provides a beautiful setting for a retreat You awaken to the morning sun shining on the front porch where old fashion rockers await and drink coffee from a Kuerig or a Mr Coffee maker By mid afternoon the sun has hidden behind the hillside and temperatures on the deck are noticeably cooler providing a cool comfortable place to relax and enjoy the sound of water rolling over the rocks House layout Master bedroom with a king bed and a full bath A sitting room with an electric fireplace that also has a daybed with trundle and a mounted 42 inch TV A third bedroom with 2 twins beds There is a full bath in the hallway Dining room off the kitchen has seating for 6 Great room with 55 inch TV and vaulted ceilings This room opens to a large deck overlooking the creek In addition a stone patio with an old fashion barbeque pit awaits the adventurous chef A gas grill is also provided For those looking for outdoor adventures the location is convenient to Western North Carolina s famed hiking biking fly fishing and golf This house is pet friendly with additional pet fee
