Best Wedding Vacation Ever!
Southern Grace was the perfect facility for hosting our daughter's wedding and the week of togetherness for the family and friends. We had 150 at the wedding itself, but the week of celebrating and fellowship at Southern Grace for family and friends was what made the event so spectacular. The facility was beautifully set up for our big crew to stay and have a vacation with 48 others. Never did anyone feel that they were on top of others or crowded. At any given time there was food prep or a meal happening in the kitchen(very well set up for cooking for a crowd), a puzzle being worked in the huge great room off the kitchen, rocking and coffee and chatting on the decks and poolside, napping in the bedrooms (always quiet despite what else was happening), games being played by the kids...it was such a fun and relaxing time. The space also allowed for wedding and rehearsal dinner preparations and projects ahead of time. During my planning, Greg always responded to emails almost immediately, at most maybe a couple hours. Tracy Lawhon took care of groceries, towels, beach towels and chairs, and was quick to respond to any questions or issues the week we were there. The only issue was a ceiling fan switch and that was repaired within hours of the call. THe facility was very clean, well maintained. I felt like I was in a luxury hotel! I would highly recommend this to anyone planning an event in which you needed to house 30-60 persons and would benefit from all the common spaces. So much more economical than a hotel PLUS all the ability to gather in so many spots PLUS the gorgeous views and access to the ocean and beach.

We arrived right at 4 PM for check-in. The house was clean and very impressive. Each room is good size--plenty of space for suit cases. Never felt like I was stepping around the beds! The bathrooms were clean. The house is loaded with amenities. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking. We had 33 people in the home and it never felt crowded in the kitchen. Loved the eating area in the kitchen. The board walk to the beach was easy and beach was beautiful. The owners were easy to deal with during our stay. When we arrived I reported a few mishaps that must have happened in prior week rental and I was advised accordingly. Very easy to work with during the planning stages of the vacation and during the vacation. I would recommend to any large family or group. Our family plans on returning in the future. Very special place!

Amazing
This is the second time I've been to this vacation house. Love it!! So much room for everyone. We had 51 people (31 adults/20 kids) ranging from 57 to just 3 months old. The kitchen is fantastic for making meals for the whole crew. The young nieces loved the huge bunk room (6 queens). Love the short walkway directly to the beach. Greg was great to work with and answered all our questions. You won't be disappointed.

Welcome to Southern Grace. Opening its doors in May, 2015; Southern Grace is an extravagant, newly constructed manor which simply takes your breath away. One of the largest beachfront rentals in the country, this house has a unique design through and through, evident when you first approach. However, once you really take a look around, the magnificence of it becomes clear. Outside, you will enjoy the Tiki Bar, in-ground pool, dance floor, and ample covering from the weather’s elements-perfect for shade in the summer time or providing the covering for your wedding. Don’t worry about privacy; Southern Grace is built on over an acre of land, making private parties or family fun that much more intimate.
The house is nothing short of a dream away from home. With plenty of parking outside (40+ cars) and able to sleep up to 60 guests a night, you’re sure to feel accommodated for any family or social outing. The house features two magnificently oversized suites overlooking the ocean, along with 5 additional suites with king sized beds and lavish décor. Seven fully furnished bedrooms housing double queen beds compliment Southern Grace’s living experience. Two additional rooms contain bunk beds, making it an absolutely perfect haven for your kids to have fun, enjoy their stay, and sleep tight. Let them play in the oversized room, outfitted with double queen beds along with the popular double queen built in bunk beds, while the others enjoy their time in a room equip with double queen beds and one twin bunk bed.
With 18 bathrooms, it’s a guarantee that everyone gets their fair turn at a hot shower. Don’t worry about lines or complaints, this house accommodates everyone sufficiently. There’s even four showers outside! Furthermore, there’s a bedroom within the manor which is handicap accessible, including a handicap bathroom as well.
Just when you thought this dream house couldn’t get any more convenient, it boasts a large, residential elevator to help with moving in and out and just to enhance your stay.
The living spaces in this house are nothing short of breathtaking. With two giant living spaces on each floor in addition to a second living room on the second floor, you will find it hard not to sink deeply into the comfort the house provides. Lining the rooms is a wide array of luxurious windows, bringing in the natural light from outside and only adding to the sumptuous ambiance. If you aren’t tempted to spend all your time in the great room, venture to the separate movie/game room, featuring a prodigious HDTV, a game table, and a foosball table for additional entertainment and fun.
While we’re talking about entertainment, let’s talk about the 19 brand new television sets placed throughout the complex. There are massive TVs installed in the common areas, with smaller sets in each of the bedrooms, making it ideal for everyone to have something to watch at any time. CCTV provides a premium cable service, allowing you access to your favorite television shows, while an in-house collection of over 30 DVDs lets you catch a late night hit movie with friends and family. Need internet? Not a problem. Lightning fast 60 Mbps of WI-FI access is indeed available at your fingertips. This makes it all too perfect for the late night work horse or internet surfer.
If you’re in the movie/game room and find yourself getting parched, please enjoy the kitchenette equipped with microwave, sink, and drink refrigerator. This is an absolute fun palace for the kids or kids at heart, or a convenient oasis for club or church meetings. If you’re really starting to feel peckish, take your appetite to the extra, extra-large, luxurious kitchen area, where 3 refrigerators, 3 state-of-the-art ovens, 2 microwaves, and a 10-burner cooktop make you feel like you’re on the set of a Kitchen Network show. After dinner (there is seating for 52 and more if you use the couches), explore the popular beverage serving area. Enjoy cocktails, coffee, or just some juice with your little ones.
While you’re kicking back, take advantage of the large, private heated pool (extra fee to heat). If the sun isn’t for you, or if you’ve just simply had enough, venture over to the covered area on the colossal pool deck and relax in the comfort of some shade while still being part of the fun. Challenge someone to a game of corn hole, shuffle board, basketball, ring toss, etc. Once the nighttime arrives, take advantage of the Tiki Bar and showcase your dance moves on the dance floor. Perfect for fun family nights or club meetings where you just need to get loose and enjoy life. The area under the house has stained concrete for a ballroom feel.
There is something for everyone here, as you can play basketball with friends and family while preparing burgers and hotdogs on one of the two gas grills available to you. The entire complex is specifically designed for large group gatherings, so don’t be afraid to invite some extra friends!
This house is about luxury, convenience, and overall quality of life. The inverted floor plan places the main living area on the second floor, giving you the absolute perfect view of the ocean. Throw in cathedral ceilings and you have yourself a palace you won’t want to leave.
Let’s face it-house work needs to happen sometimes. Don’t worry, because with 2 full-service laundry rooms complete with washers and dryers make it that much easier to get it done so you can get back to enjoying your stay.

About The Area
About a 5 minute drive away is a community park with tennis courts, basketball courts, sand volleyball courts, a kids playground and a nature walk. Within walking distance (2 minutes) is a small market and bar. Within a 5 minute walk in the beach is a restaurant and bar 7 stories up with the most incredible view on the island.
