Great Honeymoon Retreat

Him: I booked the Buffalo Bungalow for our late April honeymoon and have absolutely no regrets, staying there was a fantastic experience. I kept where we were going secret from my then-fiance, she was so thrilled when she saw the cabin and everything it had to offer. The scenery, accommodations, animals, and centralized location near Asheville and the Smoky Mountains was the perfect combination. Her: It was the perfect honeymoon location: quiet and beautiful location. There was a cute little fire-pit and grilling area that we took advantage of a few nights, and relaxing in the hot tub at night gave a great view of the night sky. I highly suggest taking a look at the local area attractions because there was a lot to do (loved Biltmore Estate!). I would go again in the future

LOVED IT!!!

WOW...what a great place! We just enjoyed our stay at the Buffalo Bungalow. As parents of 4 boys, this is exactly the get away we needed t reconnect & unwind! The inside of the cabin was so amazing!!! We will be back. Might try a bigger cabin & bring the family...or, we might just sneak away to this one again!! Thanks Buffalo Creek!

Wonderful cabin in the Mountains!

The cabin was very well maintained and clean, and thoughtfully supplied with towels, kitchen ware, and enough firewood for (at least) two fires. My wife and I very much enjoyed our stay. The owner's suggestion for 4-wheel-drive in the winter was, we found, well advised even though we didn't experience true "winter weather." Gravel roads or drives tend to heave and get pot holes in winter faster than they can be filled so the extra clearance combined with better traction is good (plus it helped us avoid spinning out and making things worse!) The view was great!
