As you enter this cozy “green built” Arts and Crafts style home, you feel as though you’re in your own special world…take a deep breath and relax. The open floor plan and vaulted ceilings of this 1,800 square foot oasis, with dark bamboo floors throughout, make it feel much larger and airy. Enter into the living area, open for 2 stories, with open staircase to second level, and modern fully appointed kitchen to your right; stainless steel appliances, gas stove, granite counter tops, and outfitted with everything you need to prepare and enjoy a meal. The first modern full bath is off the kitchen, and the back study provides space to escape for some private time, and as additional access to the private inviting back deck, also accessible off the kitchen.
Both queen bedrooms, one on the upper level the second on the lower level, have huge closets, and decorated in warm tones and the comfort of our guests in mind. The second level master bathroom has a large tile glass enclosed walk in shower, granite counter tops and double sinks. And one of our favorite spots is the loft, a cozy nook where you can curl up with a good book, or just kick back.
West Asheville has lots to offer; Walk to Hole Doughnut shop for fresh coffee and some homemade deliciousness! The River Arts District is just .5 miles from the front door, with the famous Wedge Brewery, and many other popular eateries such as White Duck Taco, a local favorite! Visit Sunny Point Cafe, another farm to table local favorite, just 1 mile toward the center of West Asheville, a left off of Wamboldt St. up Haywood Rd. Looking for something a little more gourmet? Check out The Admiral; One of Asheville's 5 star restaurants presenting inventive creative delicious cuisine. You can park and launch tubes just .25 miles (directly under the River Link Bridge right next to the Wedge Brewery) and float down the French Broad River. Urban Orchard Cider Bar & Taproom is just down the block, and left up Haywood Rd. Popular Carrier Park is .25 miles away with miles of running and bike riding trails along the French Broad River. Urban Heights is located 1.5 miles from Downtown Asheville and all it's restaurants, day spas, galleries, and shopping, 20 minutes to Asheville Regional Airport, 10 minutes to the gates of Biltmore Estate, 10 minutes to Asheville Outlets, and close to all the outdoor activities Asheville and the surrounding area have to offer.
