Home Description

I love morning in the mountains…sitting on this private dock with a warm cup of coffee listening to the birds and wildlife rustle in the woods, watching the mist rise off Lake Ticoa. So relaxing, so serene, so magical. Looking forward to another day of hiking to the many waterfalls the area has to offer, biking, boating on the lake, fishing, canoeing, kayaking, tennis, golf, swimming, spending time at the Club House…what to do today? Everyone has the option to spend their day their way, or do nothing at all. But, at the end of the day we all gather back here, at this wonderful, bright, warm, welcoming home to share our experiences, enjoy the surroundings, prepare dinner, and plan tomorrow’s adventure!

The owner does not permit events of any type, or size, to be held at the home.

Perfection

An absolutely perfect lake home in the mountains! It's the best of both worlds! We had two families (4 adults, 4 kids) staying together and it was plenty big enough for all of us! The layout was perfect and allowed the kids to have their own "kid cave" downstairs while the adults could enjoy the upstairs and the many relaxing spots to sit and read a book or simply enjoy the lake view. We took advantage of all that Connestee Falls had to offer from the many trail systems for hiking and exploring waterfalls to the clubhouse pool. We even had a company deliver paddleboards to the house and we spent the day exploring Lake Ticoa. The pristine water was perfect for swimming and cooling off after hikes! We can't say enough about this home! We will definitely be returning to Brevard! Perfect town and perfect home! A must stay!

Elegance in the Mountains

This is a beautifully appointed home arranged to maximize space and function for any group. The kitchen is equipped with everything you would need to prepare the simplest meal to a full gourmet dinner. As you cook, you can look out to the serene view of the lake. I found myself looking outside a lot either enjoying the view or the many small birds that flit around the bird feeders off the deck. If you want to be outside, just go out to the terrace to cook on the grill. There are several options of places to enjoy a meal outside as well as inside. We loved the terraced garden down to the lake. It is European inspired and offers many options of places to sit and enjoy the view. The home is in a enclosed community. Each home is tucked away into its own spot and shockingly quiet. You hardly know you have neighbors. The wildlife is everywhere and such fun to watch. We were amazed at how close the deer would allow us to get. Our four teenagers loved the community pool and then we would come back to the house and fish off the dock at the end of the day. Each of the beds is extremely comfortable. The location of the house is close to two national parks and Brevard itself. We loved having the option of all the many things to do near by or just staying at home and enjoying the relaxing atmosphere. One of the fun things to do in summer is the farmers market on Saturday AM in Brevard. It is a great opportunity to meet some locals and sample the home goods and vegetables from the surrounding area. The home owners showed attention to detail and expressed a deep interest in making sure we were comfortable and had any information about the house that we needed. It helped to make our trip a memorable and special experience.

Beautiful home with a fantastic view!

Our family of 9 stayed in this home for a week over the fourth of July and we absolutely loved it! The home itself is beautiful and the view over the lake is equally spectacular. We particularly enjoyed the wide variety of living areas. With a big family this allowed us all to gather in one place without feeling cramped but also allowed us to spread out have have time to ourselves when that was desired. There are several indoor and outdoor porches/patios which were wonderful for reading, relaxing, or just watching nature. The kitchen was another highlight since we were cooking for a large crowd. There is a great deal of space in the kitchen which allows for many hands to work at once. The stove, oven, and fridge area also professional grade which provides a great deal of space. This was a huge bonus for our family! Though there were other homes nearby we felt as though there was a great deal of privacy due to the dense woods around the home. We saw deer in the front yard on a daily basis and really enjoyed the mountain feel. Another perk that we enjoyed was access to the tennis courts, pool, walking trails, golf course, workout facility, etc. All of these activities made it so that we rarely felt the need to leave the area. There is plenty to do in Connestee Falls and we enjoyed taking advantage of all of those activities. The location is great as well. We spent quite a bit of time in Brevard as well as Asheville and enjoyed being close to many different hiking trails. The beauty in this area is incredible. Overall we were very happy with our stay in this home. It was quite spacious, clean, and the views are hard to beat. We would very much consider returning in the future and highly recommend it to anyone else who is considering a vacation in this area.
