Home Description
I’m sitting in a truly amazing home and struggle to find the words to adequately capture it; the quality of the linens and bedding, plush towels, attention to detail, the level of luxury and warmth it exudes, the elegance…inviting beyond anything I’ve ever experienced, but you’ll just have stay at The Barn at Fox Hollow and experience it for yourself!
Due to the “high style” of this home it is not recommended for young inquisitive children. The owners have decorated The Barn to provide their guests with a unique experience, and altering it would detract from the experience. The owners do not permit events of any type, or size, to be held at their home.
This converted barn is unlike anywhere you have ever stayed. Once again the owners have outdone themselves by providing their guests with the ultimate in amenities, furnishings and décor. There isn’t any detail they have overlooked.
As you enter the barn from the upper level, you’ll note the open bright interior of white washed rough sawn timber and vaulted ceiling. This level has 2 bedrooms, one on either side of the barn, each with a king bed, flat panel TV hidden behind handcrafted cabinetry, and each with a private bath of tile and glass. Walk to the end of the entry hall and gaze down through the exposed beams at the amazing space below. You’ll be constantly surprised by the unique decorative items and ideas throughout your stay, as you just can’t take it all in at once.
Descend the stairs to the great room with living/dining area and large open kitchen to accommodate all throughout your stay, while you enjoy meals together; top of the line appliances, six burner gas stove with griddle, glass front refrigerator, Bosch dishwasher, copper farm sink, and fully appointed kitchen. A wall of glass sliding doors leads out to the covered pavilion with outdoor seating for all, several conversation areas, large dining table, and off the pavilion is a fire pit feature. The living area of the great room is comfortable, warm, and inviting. Again, the flat panel TV is discretely hidden within a handcrafted cabinet, and it’s great place to curl up with a good book, kick back, gather for a great movie or sporting event, or enjoy conversation among family and friends.
Off the great room is the third bedroom with king bed, flat panel TV, private tile and glass bath, and doorway out to the pavilion. Walk back through the great room to the back of the barn past the half bath, to the master bedroom on your right, with full glass and tile bath including claw-foot bathtub, king bed, flat panel TV, large walk in closet, sliding glass doors out to the pavilion.
Now, here is where you will spend all our your time…the large screened in porch! Located off The Barn it’s like sitting in a luxurious tree house, with comfortable furnishings, flat panel TV, and gas grill hooked into the house supply.
You may never want to leave this slice of paradise, located in a quiet private mountain community 10 minutes north of Downtown Asheville, but we encourage you to take in our wonderful restaurants, architecture, day spas, breweries, shopping, and area outdoor activities.
The only drawback to The Barn is that you will not have planned to stay long enough, but you can always come back!
