Wildwood Crest is the most family oriented area of the island. Our condo is in the fully restored and renovated “Aster Inn” built in 1910 and offers many amenities as listed below. Its beautiful, relaxing wrap around porch is what our guests (and we) adore most and could be why our guests tend to come back every year! It is just south of the boardwalk and the noise, yet close enough to take a short ten-minute walk to the action. On the doorstep is The Jellyfish Café, Dairy Delight, Primos, Lizzi’s Ice Cream and more.

The Wildwood Crest bike/walking path is along the oceanfront promenade that runs from the boardwalk and onwards to Centennial Park. On the path, bikes of all types can be rented for bike riding along the path and onto the famous Wildwood boardwalk.

Wildwood Crest beaches are the finest on the island and even the east coast, and they are free! In the apartment there are beach chairs, boogie boards, beach toys, beach umbrella and a beach trolley for transporting all the gear and having a fun-filled beach day.

Just a short car ride away, heading south, the causeway takes you to Cape May—a beautiful city full of Victorian architecture, excellent boutiques, famous fudge, galleries, estates, shopping along the Washington Street outdoor mall. You can also take the Cape May-Lewes ferry to the outlet malls in Delaware and shop til you drop. If the zoo is your thing, The Cape May County Zoo is free and only15 minutes away. Boating, fishing and jet skiing are just a few blocks away on Sunset Lake.

At night, there are so many fun things going on! On the 2 mile long boardwalk there are at least four large amusement piers, games, waterparks, food, and the tramcar—a must do. You can bring a beach chair and your dancing shoes to the free outdoor concerts that happen every week at the oceanfront Centennial Park. It's a really great night out for all ages with some excellent tribute, soul, and oldies bands. Or you can take in a meal, show and try you luck in Atlantic City, only 40 minutes away.

PLEASE NOTE:Guests must bring their own linens as none are provided. You should plan on bringing your own sheets, pillowcases hand towels, beach towels and bath towels. Alternatively, there are linen rental companies that rent all of this to guests.

Lovely Stay

I stayed August 18-25 and had a lovely time. The property is exactly as described. The best part is the porch and the pool, along with the easy walk to the beach. Would definitely stay again.

Charming Victorian style condo

We have no complaints about our stay from beginning to end. Check in was easy and the owner provided us with all the pertinent information we would need ahead of time. Everything that we could possibly need for a family beach vacation was provided. No need to pack your chairs and beach cart because they are included. The condo was beautifully furnished which gave it an at home charm. The upstairs room was cozy and was perfect for our children and their grandmother to share with room to spare. The wrap around porch was a perfect location for morning coffee and games or family dinners in the evening, even when it was raining out. The kitchen was fully stocked. The pool was a delight and the company of the other tenants was very enjoyable as well. I highly recommend this property. We feel so fortunate that we found it! Thanks Melissa for such a memorable vacation.

Beautiful Victorian home

My husband and I traveled from the Midwest to spend a few days at the shore with family members in the surrounding areas. We have fond memories of Wildwood, Avalon and Stone Harbor as we vacationed there every summer when our children were growing up. We have always loved old Victorian homes and were pleased to have found Melissa's home. The home was very welcoming with many special touches to make us feel comfortable and "at home" She even had beach chairs, umbrellas and coolers available for our use. I loved the porch and spent much of my time out there reading and relaxing. We also had meals on the porch and it was a great place to visit with our family. The neighborhood was quiet and within walking distance there were restaurants, a coffee shop/ bakery and a small fresh fruit and vegetable market.
