Lovely vacation spot in Rye, NH

Our family of four adults, twin 5 yr olds and family dog found this home to have something for everyone. The twins loved the beach and coming back to the extra long driveway perfect for bike riding. The bikes were supplied by the owner along with a myriad of toys. The air conditioners in two of the bedrooms were a welcome relief as it was 90 degrees or more each day. It was have been nice to have one in the kids room but we thought ahead to bring a window fan and it did help. Andrea, the owner was always available for questions and suggestions. We spent time at the beach close by, shopped and ate out in Portsmouth and visited the Oulets of Kittery . Thank you Andrea for helping to make this a most enjoyable week.

Just Perfect!!

We would highly recommend this vacation rental. From the start Andrea was very helpful and available to answer any questions. Our group included 5 adults and 2 and children(ages 11 and 5).The floor plan of the house could not have been more perfect as there was plenty of "individual" space as well as space to gather. The grounds(about 3 acres) are beautifully maintained and were thoroughly enjoyed by everyone.Outdoor activities were numerous with just about anything you can think of supplied. In short, this is an ideal rental for families and we look forward to booking again next year.

Great Home for the Groom's Out-of-Town Family

My oldest son got married in Rye, NH this past July and our family chose to stay in this beautful home by Wallis Sands beach rather than an overpriced, cramped hotel room. The Sunday to Sunday rental period was wonderful as his wedding was on a Saturday and every other home rental I looked at only allowed for a Saturday rental which would have had us moving in or out on his wedding day. We also brought our old family dog with us from Michigan which made my son very happy. Centrally located to everything, it was easy to get to all the different pre-wedding events and we loved sightseeing in the area. This home was extremely clean, very well equipped, had wireless Internet and plenty of room (both inside and out) for everyone to relax and enjoy themselves. In fact, with all the busy wedding festivities going on throughout the week, this home was our own quiet haven where we could escape. The weather was incredible during our stay and we especially liked our sunset walks on the beach with our dog. The lakes in Michigan are pretty, but the ocean with it's sandy beach, tidal pools, and big rocks is just amazing. We look forward to returning again next year to help them celebrate their anniversary! Thank you for helping to make our week perfect.

Wonderful week in August

I was fortunate to be able to rent this property with several friends and spent a wonderful week in Augus 2009 just blocks from the ocean and easy driving to beautiful scenery in New Hampshire and Maine. The house was large enough with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms(!) for privacy, and the kitchen and dining rooms were large enough places for all of us to gather for meals and planning our daily outings. The house even came furnished with linens for the bedrooms and bathrooms, and enough kitchen suppplies that we could cook wonderfull breakfasts and dinners. The house wound up being in a great location that we visited the ocean at a moments notice. There were days spent on the beach just hanging out enjoying the weather (and a wonderful lobster dinner bought fresh from the local harbor) and one day were we took a harbor cruise to The Isles of Shoals. We also spent a day driving around southern Maine were we saw the Nubble Lighthouse. If this is your first time visiting New Hampshire I would definately recommend this as a place to stay for a family and friend vacations. It offers a clean, private home away from home setting for relaxing or if you prefer, plenty to do and see in the surrounding region.
