Above our Expectations!
My grown siblings and I stayed here for 4 nights. Even though it rained off and on, we also enjoyed sun and the beautiful, unbeatable beach and lake. The cleanest lake in Minn! We knew the area very well having grown up in Fergus Falls and spending summers on Otter Tail Lake, but we found a real treasure at W. Battle Lake. The cabin was nicer than we expected for a rental facility. Owners were very thoughtful - they even left us a wonderful bottle of wine! The kitchen was so well-appointed we could have lived there indefinitely. Furniture is as cozy and comfortable as home - maybe better. Everything was tastefully decorated and well-maintained. Beds were comfortable too. The Boys in our group loved the Bunkhouse - their own private "man cave" in the woods. We listened to owls and loons calling in the night. Wow! We all enjoyed the Boathouse - decorated so perfectly for a Minn. lake. We spent hours in the Boathouse in the cool evenings telling stories and reminiscing about our childhood, our parents (both now deceased) - laughing, tears for the memories and being grateful for our lives and the way our parents raised us. A quiet, safe but friendly neighborhood away from city noise and crowds. Our stay was the first of many to come. We treasured every moment and are very grateful we found this treasure. Hopefully to be back next year!

This home has so many features to enjoy from the great views and sunrises to enjoying the sound of the waves splashing on the beach from within the boathouse. Beautiful sandy bottom perfect for swimming and lake activities.
Glendalough State Park is just over a mile away to ride your bike, jog or hike through the trails. So many restaurants to choose from or stay at the lake and enjoy the evenings grilling. Amenties include air conditioning and heat in main house, DVD Player, First Aid Kit, Charging Flashlight, Fridge, Freezer, Dishwasher, Microwave, Oven/Stovetop, Coffee Pot, Toaster, Griddle most cooking accessories, spices and basic condiments (cooking oil, spray, ketchup, mustard, flour, sugar ect.) Bunk House and Boat House do not have AC or Heat.
