Maria's Sunset Shore

Details

Home Description

This spacious four bedroom summer home is a new acquisition for the proud owner's, but they are unable to enjoy lake living for 5 weeks in late June and July, so they have decided to share their beautiful summer home with like-minded lovers of Northern Michigan living.

The home is roomy, clean, comfortable, well equipped, well maintained and unique. It is located 25 minutes from The Sleeping Bear National Lake Shore Park that was voted the Most Beautiful Place in America in 2011. A second floor balcony surrounds the first floor living and dining area creating a two story great room with a beautiful stone wall fireplace. The house is designed so that the lake is visible from most rooms on the first floor: the living room, dining room, kitchen and master bedroom. The rooms on the second floor open to the balcony which also allows for water views. Most of the rooms hold beds and mattresses that are new. When you are ready to check outdoor amenities, open the lake-side sliding glass door, take the few steps on the plush grass and then sink your bare feet into the warm sand of the beach which edges the lapping water of the lake. The lake bottom is firm and sandy and shallow a good way out, great for swimming and for children playing on the beach close to the water's edge.

There is a dock and mooring station to which you can moor your boat. It could also be a great place to sit in the sun and dangle your toes in the water.

As evening approached, gather round the oudoor fire pit. This is the time of day to enjoy an evening fire, roasting marshmallows and admiring the beautiful sunsets over the lake.

Lazy days in the sun, swimming, fishing, boating, move to evenings by the fire and moments watching the sunset. This is the perfect setting to enjoy family time, relax, laugh and play together. Secluded on a private road, you are centrally located for exploring the mant attractions that surround you. Create your summer memories at the Maria's Sunset Shore!

The house is centrally located just off County Road 641 and less than 30 miles from the Sleeoing Bear National Lake Shore Park, voted in 2011 as The Most Beautiful Place in America.

Trips to Traverse City, Leland, Lake Leelanau, Suttons Bay, Empire, Glen Arbor and Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes, all take about the same time!! Shopping, dining and site seeing are all close by.
