To Bill and Carla (and sister) Very clean. View outstanding. So quiet and peaceful. Supplies in cabin, (kitchen), intuitive. There was wood and kindling available for fire ring. Nothing more peaceful than an early morning coffee on cool fall day on porch with (smoke) on the water. We walked our pooches 2x day on the long property and they (and we) loved every second of bridge over creek to old red barn to (black) squirrels scurrying about. Lots of birds. Lots of fish in beautiful lake. We got a full beautiful rainbow one sunny misty afternoon. It was rustic but we loved it. We intend to return. Thank you for a much needed respite truly away from it all.

Great Vacation
Great vacation spot! The fishing was great and the weather was perfect. The family had a outstanding time. Wish we had more time to spend up there. Spent one day at Lake Michigan.

Some good ice fishing
This Feb I spent a weekend ice fishing with 2 of my friends. We were lucky, it was quite cold, but sunny all weekend. Caught a few good ones. We might come back to the lake for Summer to do some more fishing! Had a great time, nice cottage! Catch ya guys (and more fish) later ;-) Eli

Will be back
Had a wonderful time, guys! Jeff (our 10 year old) caught a big large mouth bass, he still talks about it. And I finally found some time to read books. We'll be back this summer for at least a weekend, but we're trying to come a week. The boys want to go fishing again!! Sarah Bender

Lakefront Cottages on Semi-Private Lake, Beach, Boats Fun!
Seven musically themed cottages, all with at least two bedrooms, a setting of rolling hills and a rustling creek, all on a semi-private lake for swimming, canoeing, kayaking and fishing. Enjoying the outdoors in year round cottages with lots of wildlife yet near many local attractions.
Our Folk Cottage is the most popular with four bedrooms, sleeping up to eight. It is located in the corner of the property, next to the creek and closest to the lake. It has a covered porch, its own camp fire ring, and Dish network for the television.
Lots of water sports - Fishing, canoeing, kayaking, swimming. The area has many lakes and rivers to discover. Not one moment of boredom at Lakeside Melodies.
Enjoy folk music - Bill and his friends are often together in the Summertime to share music by the evening fire.
Kids have a blast! - They can play in the water, on our sandy beach, run around on our spacious grassy fields and have fun at the playground.
A nature lover? - Then you will like Little Pleasant Lake and all the lakes surrounding us. The area is great for biking and hiking.
Bring your camera, sometimes deer and other animals come visit the property! We'll do anything to make your vacation the best you ever had!
