However, if you are looking for more entertainment, the Little River Casino (with special shows) is about 10 miles away and there are many restaurants nearby. Since the natural environment and the lake are provided for everyone, we welcome all to come and enjoy.
The Victorian Port City of Manistee has views of Lake Michigan and the Manistee River. This is a small, quaint city with a downtown that covers several city blocks. The friendliness and brotherhood will capture you right away. If you are looking for peace and quiet, you will find it right here in Manistee. You can swim in the lake and walk the beaches for miles. If you want more activity, the Little River Casino is always abuzz with performances and with your chance of luck. There are many small cities within a 20 / 30 mile range of Manistee. There is much going on in Manistee and in the surrounding cities.
