Unique in design and tastefully decorated, the cottage sits on the west shore of these sparkling waters and has a wide and uninterrupted view of North Lake Leelanau through the glass of the two large sliding doors of the living room, dining room, the kitchen and the master bedroom. The kitchen has a new stainless steel refirigerator and dishwasher. The generous deck sweeps across the lake side of the house offering comfortable seating, inspiring views from sunrise to sunset, and the music of water lapping at the shore. The master bedroom features a queen bed and its own bathroom. There are two bedrooms upstairs, one with a queen bed and the other with a bunk bed. The bunk bed room is entered from the queen bedroom. There is a new pull-out queen sofa in the living room. The second bathroom with a shower is in a large room which also houses the new stackable washer and dryer on the first floor.. The house is heated, air-conditioned, has WiFi and a small flat screen TV with cable. There is a long dock, a small sandy area on shore, and a hard sandy bottom in the lake. Boat rentals are available nearby. Leland, just a walk or bike-ride away, is less than a mile north on M-22 where there are restaurants, specialty stores, a grocery store, breakfast and coffee shops, a library, an historical museum, churches and several public Lake Michigan beaches. Each bright day of your vacation will begin with a spectacular sunrise, one that will be as unique and beautiful as is the house, 'Lapping Waters, from which you watch it!!There is plenty of fishing, boating and hiking in the summer months as well as wine-tasting and color tours in the fall. Nearby winter acticities include skiing, snow-shoeing, and tubing, so 'Lapping Waters' is available for year-round fun!!
