House Charming, adorable, cozy. Nestled in the meadow among woods and farmland that line Alpers Rd., this little house was originally built for Grandma and Grandpa to retire to when the son of the family took over the farm. Later, a young family bought this little house as a get away from the hustle of life in NYC. This unique country cottage has 2 bedrooms and will sleep no more than 4 people. One bedroom has a queen bed, the other a bunk bed. The bathroom is tastefully decorated. There are laundry facilities on site, a complete kitchen with a dishwasher and a large screened-in porch to be enjoyed on lovely summer evenings. The porch screens have heavy plastic sides to roll down should the evening become chilly. Lake Leelanau is about a miles walk down the road. Because one will walk down a slight incline, the view of the lake all the way down the road is breath-taking, especially on an early summer morning. Public parks and launching sites on Lake Leelanau are nearby. No smoking. Linens, towels, and some paper products and soaps are included.
