Take a drive to The Wine Country, a top Zagat rated restaurant in Port Costa, UC Berkeley, San Francisco, Walnut Creek, Mt Diablo and return to our little Yosemite cabin for a rest.
We can accommodate 7 people, 2 bedrooms with queen beds, an unusually comfortable queen sofa bed in the living room and a single futon for the floor in one bedroom or for the floor in the living room.
This is truly a retreat among Heritage Oaks, sometimes deer in the yard or on the road, wild turkey and close to most everywhere you'd want to visit in the Bay Area.
You will have access to the kitchen,a washer and dryer, the grounds outside, and lots of Bay Area info.
We are a family of foodies and the Bay Area is loaded with great eats that we can tell you all about.
You are welcome to come and go as you please. Coffee, and tea are available. There is room in the refrigerator and use of a kitchen cabinet shelf, a full kitchen, and an outdoor grill.
We are on a tree lined street, in a quiet, and very friendly neighborhood.
You are a walk or bike ride to WildCat Canyon Park for great hikes and picnics, a 5 mile walk or bike ride to the other side which is Tilden Park where there is the Little Farm, merry-go-round, steam train and hiking. And if you have a dog we are a 7 minute drive to one of the largest dog parks in the country, Pt Isabel, on the Bay, with its own Sit and Stay Cafe for humans, and a dog wash.
The new Craneway Pavillion is 15 minutes from our home, where Assemble Restaurant is located on the bay and one of the new places for Bay Area events.
