Wonderful and charming!
Greetings everyone , my name is Donna and I just had to take a moment to write a review about this wonderful home! From the moment we walked threw the door my blood pressure went down the view was AMAZING ! Lol I own a day spa and keep very busy and I'm VERY picky about hygiene and sanitation as well because of this , and let me tell you this home was immaculate!!!! Walks on the near by beach were great and the local restaurants were good as well. I really liked the grocery store Called The Market at Pine Hills , cute place to chill and stroll and have lunch too. The views were outstanding! The little covered porch with the rocking chairs were my favorite place to chill, even on a rainy cloudy day , it seemed ok:)! Even our 21 year old daughter who attends BU managed to relax and enjoy the view before heading back to school. I must take a moment to mention Ms.Robin the owner, she was professional, accessible and very friendly to deal with. We live in Houston Texas so we appreciated the cool weather and the ocean views , that being said we will be back:)! Should y'all need any other info feel free to reach out to me.

Outstanding
What a place, the pictures didn't lie. We really enjoyed Timberframe Cottage! Words can't describe the beauty of the home and the views. Everything was clean and in great condition. Plenty of outdoor seating and a great breezeway. Enjoyed the fire pit. Very tranquil and private. Great for families and friends. Definitely would come back.

Memorable
Memorable - from the breathtaking ocean views to the interior (and exterior) architectural and design details. This cottage sweeps you away from your everyday life to the ocean views. If you want hype, go elsewhere. If you are looking for an 'exhale' with a touch of New England history nearby (do not miss the whale watching experience), this is your oasis of rejuvenation. The owners have created a cottage chic/luxe experience from top to bottom with special details that the photos show, but can only be enjoyed in real life. Thank you, Robin! You've made this a retreat for your guests. (And the greyhounds thank you, too - they LOVED the yard - big enough for a mini race course!).

Unique cottage by the sea
Timber frame cottage was a wonderful, cozy cottage on the sea side in the Monomet section of Plymouth. Close to everything but far enough to enjoy the peace and quiet of the beautiful, natural surroundings. A mile down the road we went to the recommended "lobster pound" where I picked up a perfectly prepared lobster feast! I didn't have to smell up the house or make a mess! They did it all for me! I noticed the little touches that made a world of difference! Not only was it well equipped, it had fresh flowers, perfectly folded towels, soft sheets, cozy quilts, even wood was provided for the firepit. Robin was so accommodating! I asked if there was HBO because we absolutely couldn't miss Game of Thrones season finale, she added it to the cable service for us! Thank you Robin, we hope to return next year!

Perfect Getaway Cottage!!
This cozy, eclectic cottage makes for the perfect getaway spot! Whether you are tucked into bed in the cozy first floor suite, enjoying an afternoon beverage at the beautiful wooden kitchen counter, or relaxing with a cup of coffee on the deck you have a breathtaking view of Plymouth Harbor! The house was very neat and clean when we arrived and we had everything we needed to make meals right at home. This adorable cottage proved to be the perfect location for our mother/daughter weekend! Thank you Robin for allowing us to make wonderful mother/daughter memories in your beautiful home!

Coolest House . . . Incredible Views!
We could not have been happier with this amazing home away from home for our mother-daughter weekend. We LOVED this fascinating and funky house. The minute we walked in we fell in love. It is awesome! The view is breathtaking and they've thought of everything as far as meeting any/all our needs for a fun and comfortable stay. We had all our meals at the house because we just didn’t want to leave. We'll be back for sure! - Stacy F

Amazingly Peaceful and Beautiful
Wow, what a place! I contacted Robin at the very last minute about staying for the weekend, and she couldn't have been more accommodating. From the second I stepped into the warm, cozy cottage I was captivated by the place. While I can imagine that this is amazing during the summer months, I actually am very happy that I was there with snow on the ground and chilly winds blowing. The comfort, security and warmth of the cottage cuddled up in front of the fireplace was the perfect place to be on a cold and snowy weekend. The cottage is stocked with absolutely every comfort you could possibly imagine. The decor is just beautiful. This is truly a loved and well cared for place where you can rest, relax and rejuvenate. Did I mention the view?! Holy smokes is it amazing. Drifting off to sleep at night while looking out over the ocean at the lights of Plymouth Harbor and the lighthouse in the distance was just awesome. I didn't want to leave! Big thanks to Robin for sharing this amazing property with all of us.

Well equipped luxury cottage
Our family of five had a great experience at Timberframe Cottage! After making arrangements for a late arrival with Robin the house was lite up and very welcoming. We were so amazed with the cottage! So much attention to detail! The owners have made it so comfy and accommodating. Everything was really well thought out and decorated so nicely. Location is quiet just off 3A. 10 minutes from Plymouth. We visited in November and made use of the gas fireplaces. The house has so much character and high quality amenities. Keurig coffee, utensils, a pantry stocked with spices, etc.. We found a photo album that showed the cottage before the owners renovated it. Wow what a transformation! Our kids were sad to learn the second half of our vacation was to be spent in a hotel in Boston. As far as Plymouth: Cornerstone Cafe is excellent! Mamma Mia's pizza EXCELLENT! And we recommend a trip to Sandwich to see the historic city and eat at Cafe Chew. again Excellent! Robin was great to work with and we would definitely stay at any of her properties if we return to the Cape!

PARADISE ON THE COAST!
Upon our very late arrival after an exhausting drive, we were relieved to find an enchanting cottage with one of the most relaxing views we've ever seen! The kitchen is truly a chef's kitchen, complete with every utensil one could imagine including very sharp knives. The master bed was super comfy with lots of quilts for chilly nights. Whether cooking, reading, answering work emails, or waking up in bed, you always find yourself staring outside at the water, even in inclement weather. The outdoor space was an extension of the kitchen/family room, one could spend all day out there. I took advantage of the outdoor shower (not mentioned in the description, but a huge plus!) every day! Make sure to visit nearby Plymouth, not only for the history, but for the food and drink (Nosh Tavern and British Beer Co.) The Lobster Pound in Manomet Point provided fresh seafood for several succulent dinners. I would recommend this property to anyone who loves peace and quiet, getting close to nature and who really appreciates special touches in a beautifully restored beach cottage. Robin was readily available and answered any questions we had during our stay.

Amazing Ocean Retreat
My wife and I were looking for a quick pre-Summer escape from the city. The Timberframe Cottage was a lucky find! It is everything you could hope for - an easy drive from Boston, situated in a quiet & secluded overlook, capturing the simplicity of country living with every imaginable modern amenity including wifi and cable. We spent most of our evenings on the deck grilling then migrating towards the fire pit near the edge of the bluff - toasting smores, enjoying the sunset, and staring at the stars. The house is warm, welcoming, and light filled. You wake up in the master bedroom surrounded by windows looking across the woodland property. A great treat is brewing the first cup of coffee and deciding where to sit and enjoy it - the living room looking out to the sea, the deck under the shade of the trees, or the porch seating area directly beneath the cupola? We took time to explore the sights in Plymouth and Duxbury, but the real vacation is staying on the property and enjoying the fresh sea air, the sun moving across the sky, and the endless opportunities to lounge and unwind. We will certainly return to this great retreat - so close to the city but worlds away.

Weekend get away
This home was amazing!! We couldn't stop saying wow with every room we walked in. After dinner Friday eve we were sitting in living room. Someone said "DEER" sure enough there they were two of them, looking at us!! God is good to provide us with his creature. Thank you Robin for being so generous in opening your wonderful home. The before an after picture of the renovation were wonderful to see how you transformed this ugly duckling to a beautiful swan! God Bless!! We certainly will be renting this home if we are ever back in this area.

Rustic Cottage with Beautiful View
Our family of five enjoyed our stay in this cottage. The cottage had plenty of room for two adults and three daughters (11, 14 & 17). The cottage was clean and nicely decorated. The wood floors and ceilings were beautiful. The master bedroom had amazing views of the bay and the bed is surrounded by windows on three sides which made for beautiful views and cool breezes at night. While there are homes on both sides of the cottage, the way the landscaping and lot is set-up, you don't see any neighbors. The view of the bay from inside the house and the back deck was a perfect way to begin and end our days. We stayed in the cottage for 7 days and used it as our "base" to explore Plymouth, Cape Cod, Newport and Boston. It was a convenient drive to all locations. We enjoyed exploring Plymouth and all of the history about the Pilgrims and early days of our country. We also enjoyed exploring the charming towns of Cape Cod and the beautiful mansions in Newport. Robin was a pleasure to work with through the entire process and was very responsive to all of our needs and questions.

Outstanding home
We have just arrived home from our third trip to the Timberframe Cottage. This home has a sweeping view of the bay. It was so nice to wake up each morning to the sounds of the sea and the sights of lobster boats, birds, lighthouses, and wintry white tops. The combination of this home's water view, the fireplace warmth, and the interior decor made our Timberframe experience one of several that we will never forget. The owner made our stay very pleasurable.

Peaceful oasis
My boyfriend and I hadn't taken a vacation in years. We finally made our plans and all i asked was somewhere peaceful with no itinerary. Robin's house fit the bill. The coziness of the living space-ie, fireplace, the restful and meditative view and the overall openness of the property that afforded such majestic and stunning views allowed us to truly relax, stop running and breathe. The house is clean, and beautifully decorated. Robin helped us through the week with helpful destination hints and enjoyable restaurants. We both successfully recharged our batteries and enjoyed not rushing for awhile. Having a lovely home to come back to just made our vacation that much better.

An Amazing Week of Relaxation
This house was everything I'd hoped for. My husband & I craved relaxation and peace on the water, and got it! Despite the minor disruption caused by Hurricane Irene for a day (thanks for bringing over the flashlights and the bottle of wine), we had a fantastic week. Robin's home was gorgeous, tasteful, well appointed, clean and nicely maintained. All the comforts of home, in a beautiful location. In nearby Plymouth, we saw Plymouth Rock, Mayflower II & more than a few Humpback Whales (Capt. John) - Cafe Strega and the Lobster Pound were highlights. Thanks so much, Robin, for allowing us to bring Jake, our lab. A beloved member of our family, he goes everywhere with us, and we won't leave home without him.

The comforts of home, and then some!
My wife and I, our two children 13 and 11 and our 'high maintenance fury friend' (endearing nickname for our family dog!) all stayed at your home on the cliff in Manomet. We cannot say enough about the quality of this home. The attention to detail was top notch. My wife was super impressed with everything....and that speaks volumes....you don't know my wife!! They had beautiful, soft linens on all the beds, a well stocked kitchen for the chef in you, stocked bathrooms with everything you can think of (great showers!) The ambiance was perfect! We went during April vacation, and in New England, expected maybe a little sunshine, which is exactly what we got, BUT nonetheless, we were able to spend a few days of uninterrupted, precious moments with our family. We played games (another thing they didn't miss!) flew kites, visited museums, shopped and ate! A wonderful vacation we'll treasure for a long time! Thank you! P&C Bridgewater, MA

ROBIN GETS IT DONE!!! TIMBERFRAME IS A DREAM
We have been renting private homes for vacations for many years and have experienced some of the true wonders of our country this way. And while we have never been disappointed in the locations we have chosen, we have, unfortunately, not been so lucky with the homes and/or the owner's. ROBIN and TIMBERFRAME COTTAGE have restored our faith in private home vacationing. Now THIS GAL KNOWS HOW IT'S DONE! It's not just that you can tell she loves her property; her work of art. The stunning renovation (look at the photo album!), the smart use of space, and lovely antique pieces speak to her amazing design esthetic. It's her attention to the "little things" that truly sets her and her properties apart! Trust me, the little things count, especially when you have driven or flown for hours to begin your R & R only to get there and realize you have forgotten something essential, like a hair dryer (not essential enough? Got a Teen or a Tween with ya? 'nuf said!). Or maybe you dread having to run right out to the market the minute you get there because you need toilet paper or soap or shampoo? And how about hating the expense of buying all the spices and tupperware and foils and wraps you'll need for your week of cooking great meals??? NOT HERE! That's what I mean by the "little things". Once we got to this magical little place, we were able to relax, enjoy the amazing views, listen to some music, have a glass of wine on the deck, and most important...use the necessary room!! There were even snacks in the pantry! Our marketing was done at leisure, at a superb local market in Pine Hills and even though we usually dine out on our 1st night because of the stress of travel, unpacking, and marketing, here, the usual lack of enthusiasm for cooking and cleaning up was noticeably and wonderfully absent! The location of Timberframe is great. Very close to historic downtown Plymouth and driving to the cape is a breeze. Beaches abound, antique shopping everywhere, great seafood, a few spots for lively evening entertainment, and best of all, a great spot for doing NOTHING! Lie in bed late at night and watch the stars (yes the stars!) or lie-in in the morning and listen to the ocean and the birds while gazing out at the water. Heavenly! One of the best, most relaxing, stress free vacations we have ever had!! We thank you Robin for that and we look forward to a long relationship with another of your "works of art"! All the best, Rhonda and Hugh

You won't want to leave. . .
I cannot describe how much I’ve come to love Timberframe Cottage. It’s not a summer fling. I discovered this jewel by the sea well after the temperatures had turned frigid. I was looking for a place to relax and spoil myself (as well as two dear friends) while weighing whether turning 50 was as big a milestone as it felt. I was instantly enchanted upon entering the driveway. During my two week stay, Timberframe Cottage nurtured my soul. Within days, I discovered staring out to sea was not only delightful, but it inhibits stress. The rooms were clean and thoughtfully decorated. The furnishings were beautiful, the fireplaces warm and inviting, and the owner (Robin Jareaux) terrific. I postponed my departure twice. Robin was positive and flexible with each request that I might stay longer. I continue to fantasize Timberframe Cottage is my own home-away-from-home. It made turning 50 the positive transition it is meant to be.

A Stunning Oceanfront Cottage
My adult daughter, her husband and I just returned from a week in paradise at this cottage. The cottage itself is charming! The four poster bedroom on the first floor has incredible water views. The downstairs bedroom is really more like a suite, and had lots of space and privacy. But it was the view that was so incredible. There were times that we didn't want to go anywhere since we had such a spectacular ocean view. There is an outside patio with an incredible commericial style grill along with dining table and chairs, and we ate lots of our meals there. Or if you prefer, there is a hammock and some adirondack lounge chairs on the lawn. The evening sunsets were magnificent. The house was stocked with all the gadgets and dishes you would need, and we were surprised to find a good assortment of paper and other supplies just to get started with our vacation. Tv and internet access were excellent. The owner was very attentive and provided lots of suggestions for activities and beaches. We highly recommend time in this wonderful cottage.

My family spent Thanksgiving
My family spent Thanksgiving at Timberframe and we were truly grateful. This house is somewhere I would love to call home. Robin was a delight to work with and did everything to make our stay a memorable one. We hope to call it home, if for only a week, sometime soon. I warn you though, once you sleep in the bed with the view your bed at home is pretty boring. Stunning! A great place to stay.

Reason to give thanks
My family spent Thanksgiving week at Timberframe and we were truly thankful for the experience. This home is so stunning that I begged my husband to try and buy it for me. Needless to say he didn't but we hope to make it a home away from home again very soon. The photographs do not do it justice. Every nook and cranny of the house is filled with something wonderful. Robin was amazing to work with and I feel like I have a new friend in her. She went out of her way to make our trip everything we dreamt of. I am afraid to recommend this house in case it won't be available for our next trip, but I do. You won't be disappointing to call it home if only for a brief time.

The neighborhood is very interesting. It used to be the elaborate Stone Estate, a magnificent spread with mansion, guesthouse, stables, gardener's cottage, caretaker's cottage, poolhouse w saltwater pool, polo fields with stone ramparts, a house modeled after the tea house at Versailles. If you remind me, I will send you an aerial photograph of the estate from the 1930s which shows the extensive grounds, buildings and hinterlands of forested oceanfront acreage (where our house now sits.)
There is a chic grocery store called the Market at Pine Hills, ...excellent cheese shop, top-quality meats, great seafood, wonderful atmosphere and the wine shop next door with excellent selection. Downtown Plymouth has lots of good restaurant, Plymouth Rock, Plimoth plantation (which is like a trip in a time machine back to the 1600s.) Farther south there is the Cape Cod Canal bikeway, Over the bridge is the quaint town of Sandwich with its seafood shops grocery stores historic homes, antiques, restaurants...
Then again, you may never want to leave oceanfront Timberframe cottage, because it is so beautiful there...
