We just spent the weekend at this house. It was great, exactly as pictured. We had a family of 7 and there was more than enough space. The house was very clean and well taken care of. It was in a nice, safe neighborhood. The train station took less than 5 minutes to drive to and the trains were constantly running so we never had to wait more than a few minutes. It took about 20-25 minutes to get into Boston by train. The owner Greg was a pleasure to work with. He always responded to emails/texts within minutes. He even got in touch with me after we arrived to make sure everything was ok and to see if we needed anything. Great service! Great stay! I'd definitely recommend!

Perfect Home Away!
Great hospitality, my family and I felt right at home! Chris, the owner, was very.accommodating! Location is close to town, great local breakfast restaurant, grocery market and shopping! Highly recommended!

Melrose receives incredible praise from visitors to this house. It has a quaint Victorian downtown with good restaurants and a Whole Foods supermarket.
The house has luxury appointments, designer kitchen and upscale furniture throughout, and tiled baths with granite vanities. Large walk-in closets. Fenced in yard and three-car driveway. Air conditioned.
*1st Floor: LARGE luxury 5-star kitchen with granite, professional appliances, and complimentary food staples (cooking oil, sugar, coffee beans, Grind & Brew Cuisinart, etc.). Large Victorian foyer. 20 FT x 20 FT deck off kitchen with gas grill and herb garden. Living room with large sectional couch. Full bath off kitchen w/shower.
*2nd Floor: 3 bedrooms each with a queen bed, laundry (washer & dryer), and full bath w/tub.
*Attic: Finished, carpeted bedroom with double and queen futons.
*Basement: Large finished room with large sectional couch and walk in closet.
Convenient/close to Boston: 15 minutes by car. 3 minute walk to commuter rail, 2 minute walk to bus, 15 minute walk (3 minute drive) to Oak Grove MBTA train station (15 minute train ride into Boston).
Check in is usually 3 or 4 pm and check out is by 11 am, depending on the departure or arrival of other guests, if there are any before or after you. Exceptions can be made if confirmed with the owner.
