In addition to all the amenities we offer, the location is ideal with everything you might need or want conveniently nearby. Our dead end street offers you the quiet solitude you may be seeking but less than a mile away you can join the excitement of Cape Cod. At roads end you will be greeted by a saltwater pond that opens into Nantucket Sound. While you are there why not bring the 2 kayaks provided and glide along the pond, losing yourself in the peacefulness. If you want the ocean, choose to spend your day at one of many beaches, Bristol, Falmouth Heights, Menauhant that are close by, or Old Silver that is a short drive away. Lovingly cared for and nicely appointed, there is nothing that will leave you wanting in the home. Newly installed central air conditioning will add to the already comfortable environment. There is a half bath in the master bedroom and an enclosed outdoor hot/cold shower to take advantage of when the weather just begs you not to go indoors. Cable TV, Internet, and washer/dryer are included, as well as linens.
We are located on a dead end street and steps away from Great Pond. A wonderful place to walk to and enjoy your morning cup of coffee or take your children for a day of uncrowded beach activities. A mile and a half away you can go to Menahaunt Beach and enjoy the ocean looking out towards Martha's Vineyard or take a longer ride and enjoy one of the many other beaches that Falmouth has to offer.
You are also within a 5 minute drive of grocery shopping, Walmart, TJ Maxx, Home Goods and a few others. A little further and you are about to enjoy the quaint Main Street shops and restaurants of Falmouth.
If you like baseball, the Falmouth Commodores play less than a mile away and the quality of the ball players rivals what you will see when you go to a professional game.
If Golf is your game you have a few courses in the area to choose from.
This is a residential neighborhood and most of the residents live here year round. To show respect for our neighbors, we observe quiet hours between the hours of 8pm and 8am. Pets are not allowed but in full disclosure, I have a dog that occassionally is at the property. If you or anyone in your group has allergies to dogs, then this is not the place for you. There is no smoking allowed in or on the property. Only the number of people agreed to on the lease are allowed to stay or be on the property. Any violation of these stipulations will result in your leaving the property and no refunds will be allowed.
The home is suitable for families, couples, golfers weekends, or a girlfriends getaway.
