The Perfect Hawaii Setting
Having rented homes across the country for vacations our criteria for a 5 star review is quite high. This property deserves every accolade and exceeds the expectations for the most seasoned traveler. Yes, its on the beach and the furnishing are of the highest quality. However, what creates its magic is the privacy it affords both within the dwelling and outside. Our stay included 2 couples and a teen. The bedrooms each afford privacy while the kitchen, great room and outside create the perfect environment for gathering. The Fairmont is truly next door but we felt removed from the hotel. Mauna Lani Resort is but a short stroll along the beach front trail. We had no issues snorkeling and enjoying the water directly in front of the property. Day trips are facilitated through easy access to the main roads and the airport is a very easy 20 minutes. Groceries, shopping and restaurants are all within a few minute drive on the resort property. Every imaginable kitchen appliance and utensil is at arms reach. We wanted for absolutely nothing. The owner is friendly and accommodating with an approach that leaves you feeling as though they truly do want to share their paradise with you. The local property manager imparts a true Aloha impression and was helpful in obtaining pre arrival provisions and assisting with recommendations. Our one and only disappointment was that we had to leave and could not move in permanently. We will be back to this property and can not imagine staying any where else the next time we do the "Big Island"

Amazing House & Property
What an amazing property in a fantastic location. We had 2 families with 4 kids for a week. Lots of entertainment for the kids and plenty of relaxing spots for the adults. The Kona beer on tap is pretty nice as well. We would definitely recommend and hope to come back ourselves! Mahalo!

Awesome Beachfront Home with all the amenities
Perfect location, over the top home, with all the amenities. Never wanted to leave. Landscaping and pool are simply stunning. Evening sunsets were spectacular. Owner & property manager are the best we've experienced. On their recommendation, we had a catered dinner at Hale Surf's Up, which was phenomenal. Norio's at the Orchid was an excellent dining experience as well. We thoroughly enjoyed the adjacent beach at the Fairmont Orchid (within 50 yards), the beach walkways, the Owner's Beach, the Fitness Center, the Black Sand Beach and the tide pools at the Mauna Lani. Totally relaxing venue. Too spoiled now to go back to a hotel/resort.

This 4 bedroom, 4.5 baths estate on 1.34 acres, enjoys 300 feet of OCEAN FRONTAGE and sleeps 8-10 comfortably. The estate is an ideal location for family reunions, wedding parties, anniversaries, special birthdays and other celebrations. Ask us about “special events.” This estate is literally 50 feet from the ocean and from the home you enjoy 180-degree views of the ocean and Kohala Mountains. In winter months watch and admire whales and dolphins swimming nearby.
Hale Surf's Up is completely furnished for a modern contemporary lifestyle, with comfortable seating throughout. Every room has a number of original work of art. This house is designed for easy carefree living with vanishing mahogany doors, opening to magnificent ocean views and sounds to thoroughly enjoy your Hawaii vacation. The 12' mahogany doors slide away creating an oasis of indoor and outdoor living. The estate is a smart house, with Lutron lighting system, 7 large flat screen TV's in every room, along with indoor-outdoor surround sound music system.
The Gourmet Kitchen is a chef’s delight! Imagine prepping and cooking your meals on a MIELE gas cooktop with views of the ocean and pool and every thing you need readily available. The kitchen was designed to take advantage of the views so you won’t miss out on anything! There is also a butler’s kitchen with plenty of pantry storage. Kitchen includes two full Subzero refrigerators with dual freezers in kitchen, and dual drawer refrigerated vegetable crisper. Dual MIELE dishwashers for fast dinner cleanup.
Hear the ocean waves wash ashore while relaxing in the huge 56’ infinity pool with nearby heated lava spa with warm sand entry. At night, light up the two large fire-bowls and four tiki torches to enjoy the tropical Hawaiian nights.
Mix a tropical drink at the circular wet bar, which includes ice maker, refrigerator, dishwasher, and TV on the ocean side lanai. Enjoy the additional Sunset Paradise Beach bar on the private sand point with fire pit while making S’mores and listening to music.

Your stay includes twice a week linen change and light housekeeping. Daily house cleaning and linen change is available for an extra charge.
