Our family had a great stay at this condo in August. The condo location and grounds are very unique tucked into the valley with a less than 5 min drive to beautiful, quiet beaches and gorgeous natural scenery. Grounds and pool are great. Yes there is security which was nice for us with having a small child and a car to secure. Condo has everything you need and Bob is great to deal with. Bit off the beaten path on the West coast so make sure to have a car to get to town and the beaches. Honolulu is not far away for day trips, shopping, etc.

Blue Hawaii
Affordable, comfortable, perfect location, literally less than a mile from the beach. The salt-water swimming pool was refreshing, warm, and clean. The feel of the property was like being in a resort. This is “Old Country Hawaii”. It does not get any better.

Great place to avoid the hustle
This was the first time we used HomeAway so we only had what others and the owners of the property had to say. I am happy to say that the comments from reviewers and the owners were spot on. I had never been to Oahu before. The location was great and we would not hesitate to stay there again. It is important to note the reason for your holiday. If you want to tour the island, this may not be the best choice. I thought we could drive around the north tip of the island, not so. I should have paid more attention to Google maps. So when I booked us for the Polynesian Culture Centre, almost a straight line across the island, we had to go south and then double back up on the windward side of the island. It was quite the drive. Bob and Peggy are lovely people and very welcoming to their guests. We enjoyed meeting them. The next time we go to Oahu, it won't be to see the sights - been there, done that! I will take my golf clubs and play at the nearby Makaha Golf Course, relax on the condo's pool deck and after, light up grill for a old fashioned BBQ. No rush, no hustle and no bustle. And for a hike, we will travel Ka'ena Point trail.

Quiet and peaceful
We had a great stay at Bob and Betty's condo! Condo is well equipped with everything we needed and much more! We left one highly loved blanket at the condo and Bob was quick to respond to emails and we were able to retrieve it. Thanks for a great stay!

Makaha Valley Towers are located in a beautiful leeward valley that opens to the west shore of Oahu, away from the city and yet within one hour of most of the island's attractions, and minutes from golf and the island's best beaches. All of this, and Internet (WiFi), too! Beach chairs, umbrellas, and towels are furnished. The condo lanai allows a full view of the ocean and Makaha Valley and mountains.
Makaha Beach is a world-class surfing beach with numerous competion events. Turtles bask on a small beach in Makaha and Pokai Bay beach provides low surf for swimming. Mountains provide a 3000' backdrop for Makaha Valley and Yokahama Beach at the end of Farrington Road..
