Beautiful place away from the crowds

The place is nice. The traffic going into town is horrible, but the views make up for that.

Perfect Vacation

Little late but better late then never. We had great vacation staying in Mac condo in Makaha. Everything what's needed was there and Mac was reacting within eye blink if anything was needed - like snorkels. For that price you won't expect better and would definitely stay in his place in back in Makaha:) Mahalo for everythin

FABULOUS!!!!!

What a wonderful place!! I cannot express enough of the how much we enjoyed our stay. The condo was very nice. It was just as the pics show. The bed was super comfy. The couch was a sleeper sofa, it was a typical sleeper sofa mattress ( if it were mine I would purchase a memory foam topper to go on top of it). The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need including, hand mixer, blender, coffee pot, crock pot, non-stick cookware, plenty of utensils. Washer and Dryer on the premises bnut not in the condo itself. Very Very Quiet until morning and the Peacocks wake you with their calls, ( which was ok with us as we did not go to Hawaii to sleep). Also we always felt very very safe, You will not get onto property without a tag or on the list. Eating out was not an issue as we cooked most of our meals, We did eat out a few times. If you like seafood try Da crab n crawfish house just up the road. There is always McDonalds, Burger King, Taco Bell, Kentucky Fried Chicken, Subway and a few local places. It was an hour drive to anywhere like North Shore, East or into Honolulu. The traffic gets really really bad from 2:30 until about 7pm.(from Honolulu back to Waienea).Over all I rate this condo and grounds a 5 especially for the price. As far as groceries if you plan on cooking your meals They may cost a little more but not much everything was pretty comparable to my home (Arkansas). We always heard even McDonalds was high, but one day we did want an ice cream cone and we examined the menu and prices may have been 50 cents higher for a complete meal than here in Arkansas. Gas was around $ 2:75 to $ 2:85 if you buy in Waienea. Again great quiet place to stay and cannot beat the price!!! The beach is a mile walk and for the most part empty. We saw a monk seal sunbathing and the sea turtles come out at night to lay on the sands!!! Their is beautiful beaches all along the road! Mac was wonderful to work with, quick response with any issue before our stay. He even let us stay over the check out time bc our flight got delayed until almost midnight. Mahalo Mac!! I hope this helps some of you trying to decide where to stay!!

A wonderful place to stay!!

Condo just as described. Truly a home away from home. Beautiful views day and night. Mac answered all questions we had prior to our visit; very friendly. My siblings, family friend and I enjoyed our stay here. Well worth the price and definitely would rent from Mac and Nancy again.
