We loved this property
Our family had a wonderful time at this house. It was perfect for us. Lots of room for the grandkids to run and play. We enjoyed yoga in the mornings and talking and laughing at night on the lanai's in the evening. The kitchen was well stocked, we made good use of it! Thank you for providing a relaxing atmosphere.

Little Piece of Paradise
My family and I enjoyed our stay in June 2017. There were 8 adults and 6 children and we had plenty of space! The property was just as described and shown. Initially, I wasn't sure I wanted to stay on the West side of the island, as I have always stayed on the NorthShore. But it was absolutely awesome. We got to see sea turtles everyday and monk seals swimming by the house toward Kaena point each morning. The property is close to some very awesome beaches, some cool hikes, and Paradise Cove Luau which we enjoyed as a family. Ashley was so helpful and responsive and gave us local recommendations for food that we loved. I really can't say enough- we did not want to leave!

Ummm YES! Larger groups take note! The BEST
We are in love. A group of 16 from our coffee roasting company made this trek. 16 adults that work together on a daily basis did not feel crowded in this roomy and well laid out casa. Plenty of bathroom options. Plenty of kitchen space. Plenty of lanai space. The yard is gorgeous and private. Everything was in working order, very clean, and easy instructions for everything. Ashley is adorable and helpful and welcoming. We love the Makaha area. Don't be scared off by what others say about this charming area. If you are warm and welcoming, they are warm and welcoming. Lots of fabulous beach options that are sometimes busy but never crowded. Whales, dolphins, turtles out front. LOTS of turtles at the cove. Snorkeling, body surfing and surfing nearby. Our favorite beaches: Makaha, Pokai, Makua and Yokahama Bay. Makua does not have a life guard and can be rough but is stunning beyond belief. Great food options and Tamura market is the bomb. They have everything you will need with really fair prices, and you can pick up a lot of Hawai'in spices and condiments there. Da Crawfish and Crab Shack down the road is killer for all things seafood. Great happy hour prices too! Hawai'i is magic for us business owners and it was delightful to share it with our employees. A great reboot for everyone. Rest assured if you book this home that everything will be smooth. Communication was great from booking to checkout (and even some after, thanks Ashley!). We would book this again in a second.

Beautiful Oceanfront House in Leeward
Our family really wish we stayed here longer. Although this is not a Beachfront property, the Oceanfront is equally astonishing. Plus, the closest beach (Aki's Beach) is only 5 houses away, and Makaha Beach is 3 minute drive. Turtles go out in Aki's Beach to sun bathe. But PLEASE give them space and keep your distance from them (10ft/3m). The photo with the beach chair is actually a seawall. On the other side are tidepools. The house is two levels. The lower level is more modern than the upper level, but it's a 2BR/1.5Ba. Upstairs is a 3BR/2Ba fora Combined 5Br/3.5Ba. It is in the leeward side of Oahu, so it's a bit more like a province which adds to the charm. There are grocery stores nearby, as well as a really good poke to-go shop, Aloha Poke. Pros: -Easy access to beaches -A lot of utensils/plates -Friendly Property Manager -Very welcoming cleaners (if you get a chance to meet them) -Spacious backyard -Gated house -Washer and Dryer included -Lots of beach toys/accessories (boogie board, flippers, etc) -Outdoor shower to water down sand -Comfortable and spacious house -Very clean house (Gotta give it up to the cleaners. They're fantastic) -Quiet neighborhood -Property Manager is very good with communications -Easy to relax Caveats: (Instead of Cons because these are VERY minor) -It can get warm especially on your first day as all the windows are closed. But open the windows, turn on the exhaust fan (no more than 10 mins) and temperature would drop right away. It was windy during our stay too which helped with the cooling. Listening to the breeze and ocean waves crash at night is VERY VERY relaxing -It's far from HNL airport, about 45 mins. But that's ok as this is far from city and like what I mentioned, it's province. So it's quiet and definitely relaxing -Mosquitoes: where are there no mosquitoes in a tropical island? The owner provides bug spray and mosquito repellent coils so you can relax in the porch All in all, there were 7 of us that stayed and we were all very happy and sad to leave this house. If we were to stay in Leeward side again, we would definitely check if this house is available.

30 DAY MINIMUM RENTAL
Private oceanfront house located on Oahu's West (Waianae) Coast near Makaha Surfing Beach. Enjoy the deep-blue ocean and great sunsets from the lanai and large grass lawn. Nap to the sound of the waves. The property fronts coral reefs and is five houses to a sandy cove where green turtles come to shore and bask in the sand.
This estate consists of 2200 sq. ft of living space -- 1550 sq. ft 3BR 2BA on the second level (main house) and an additional 800 sq. ft 2BR 1.5 BA on the first level (ohana unit or in-law suite with separate entrance).
The main house is upstairs; three bedrooms, two full baths, great for two families. Well stocked kitchen, living room, fully-furnished with cotton sheets, beach towels. Comfortably sleeps up to 10. Three king size beds-one in each bedroom, two full size beds and a full futon couch in the family room. We also have two small children's futons and 2 pack-n-plays.
The ohana unit (in-law suite) downstairs consists of two bedrooms and 1.5 baths (comfortably sleeps up to 6). Full wet bar (a kitchen without a stove or oven), living room, fully-furnished with cotton sheets, beach towels. 2 queen size beds-one in each bedroom, and a full-size pull-out couch in the living room. Great for teens and for those with limited mobility (no stairs). Includes Smart TV w/ basic cable and Amazon TV.
Please note: there is no interior access between the ohana/in-law suite and the main house. You must use the exterior stairs to go from one unit to the other. Also, as a disclaimer, I should note the ceilings between the upper floor and ground floor are thin. Not too bad for adults, but children tend to stomp, and those little footsteps can be heard clearly from downstairs.
For smaller groups, please ask about special pricing for only the main upstairs dwelling (3BR / 2 BA), sleeps up to 10 comfortably.
There is high speed internet access for your laptop/tablet/phone throughout, and cell phone reception is good.
Out of respect for my neighbors, I do not allow large functions, parties, or weddings. Only registered guests may stay at the property.
The beach cove (2 minute walk away) is one of the few places were sea turtles frequent most days, you can snorkel with them and tropical fish like Humu'humu'nuku'nuku'apua'a
