GREAT

Condo 312 was perfect for my family. Barb, the owner, met us when we arrived and escorted us to our unit. She gave us a brief overview of the condo. Before coming to Maui we stayed 7 days at Ko Olina resort which was also great. Honua Kai resort had some extra features that Ko Olina didn't offer. They had a restaurant on the property, a water slide for the kids and a place to rent snorkeling gear. The kitchen was nicely appointed with everything needed to cook including spices. The bed was very comfortable and the washer and dyer came in handy.There was also beach chairs and boogie boards. Although it was windy, It really didn't bother us. It was a constant,gentle breeze that allowed us to sleep with the patio doors open. The ocean had a lot of coral which made it difficult to walk .Wearing water shoes is recommended. Our deposit was return within two weeks. Our entire stay at the resort was great and we hope to return sometime in the near future.

Have rented multiple times at this resort and with Maui Westside Properties. Always flawless, easy checkin. Absolutely perfect unit, stocked with amenities. Pools, beach, Dukes. What more to you need.

The Perfect Spot

Absolutely loved this place. The resort is beautiful and the unit was immaculate. Offered plenty of space for my husband and two teenagers. We could have even had two more sleep on the pullout couch. The view of the mountains was spectacular, too. What I liked best about the resort was the location. Still with all the luxury resorts but set further down so very peaceful and quiet. I also really appreciated having the owner meet us at the property and give us a personal tour. They made themselves completely available if we had any questions, but everything was self-explanatory. They even had someone come over immediately to repair a door that wasn't locking properly. Now that's service! We will definitely be returning next year.

Spectacular!

Cannot say enough good things about this resort. Our first trip to Hawaii (7 nights) and Honua Kai came to us HIGHLY recommended; our expectations were exceeded before we even got there. Kristen and Sarah were both great to deal with and the unit we were in Konea 312 was beautiful. Even more spacious than the photos suggest. Smart TV with Netflix was a plus :-) Location wise takes you 2mins tops to walk from your unit down to the beach. The expanse immediately in front of the resort is small but walk 3mins south and you're in heaven. Lots of pool space if you prefer, no shortage of chairs, loungers, etc. The resort grounds were being tended to and maintained all the time so the result is the place is immaculate. Valet is available but not really needed as the parking lot is RIGHT THERE. Grocery store in the resort is stupid pricey but just go across the street to Times and everything is half the price. Dukes good for happy hour. Next trip I won't even bother looking elsewhere, Honua Kai is the only place I'll say - can easily say it made our trip.
