Perfect Family Vacation Spot
Our family of four had the most incredible time in Maui this past week! We cannot wait to come back, and hope to be able to stay here again! The views are incredible and the patio is very private as you are literally on top of the water! This condo has all of the amenities you could wish for. It was wonderful!

Amazing View
Location and view was amazing. Condo was clean and welcoming. Downside:Carpet is old. Overall condo needs to be updated with new carpet less floors.

Location, Location, Location!!!!
We were so lucky to catch this condo last minute as I am sure it is not available very often. It is on the 6th floor which gives the best views! I took a helicopter ride and saw that there is nothing else available like this Condo block!!! It was very clean and had everything we needed. Good to know is that the one washing machine and dryer happens to be on the same floor which makes it super convenient as well as the elevators are very quick and efficient. The parking is easy, with a drop off spot and carts to unload luggage. Just a small note: if you are allergic to carpet, this will not work for you.

Maui Kai oceabfront
It was a perfect place to stay with a wonderful view! We had trouble convincing ourselves to leave the lanai to go out touring the island. The sound of the waves was so relaxing!

Maui Kai
This is an amazing unit that totally exceeded our expectations. We visited for my wife's birthday and she cried when she first saw the view! The view is simply spectacular. We found ourselves opting to stay in and play cards or read on the lanai, rather than go down to the beach. The grocery store is a five minute walk away.The unit is very clean, well stocked and decorated. Sylvie is very friendly and quick to respond, the instructions are spot-on. Maui Kai is a small-ish building (unlike the behemoth next door) and very quiet. Such a perfectly relaxing stay.We will return soon! Thank you Sylvie, we had an amazing time.

Best View in Maui!
When looking to book our condo in Maui, I searched and searched. I thought I had settled on one, but something told me that wasn't the rental for us! I'm so glad I listened to my gut, because I would have missed out on staying here, beautiful here! The picture of the balcony was what sold me and it didn't disappoint! Every moment spent awake in the condo was spent outside, watching the water, and soaking in the sun. It wasn't whale season but we loved spotting turtles and dolphins! The condo's amenities were just what our family needed. We appreciated all it had to offer beyond the view. The location is convenient with both restaurants and a market within walking distance. When returning to Maui, I wouldn't think for a second not to book here!

Maui Getaway
The view is spectacular - the condo is clean and well acquainted. You have everything you need to cook in if you desire - breakfasts beautiful on the balcony. There are boogie boards, beach towels and snorkeling gear to use if you choose to. The office staff was helpful and pleasant. The condo is a bit dated, but clean. If you are looking for a resort pool area this is not the villa to choose.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Maui Kai. The rental unit was in good shape- clean and generally well-equipped although some of the snorkeling equipment was old and needed to be replaced.

Wonderful Maui View!
Beautiful view from lanai, but the furniture on it is not very comfortable. Additionally, the stove top needs attention. But the view, again, was still worth it!

Maui Anniversary vacation
My wife and I traveled to Maui to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. It was our first time to Maui and we chose to stay at the Maui Kai Beach resort unit 605. We chose this unit because of the beautiful lanai on the sixth floor. The condo was everything that was stated and the views were incredible. Everything went smoothly and my security deposit was returned quickly. We loved the location of the resort...just a short walk to the boardwalk for dinning and beach fun. The one disappointment was that the beach access on site was closed due to construction. If there is one thing that I might suggest is that a couple of beach chairs and an umbrella be provided for guests. The condo had a styrafoam cooler, beach towels and some boogie boards but chairs would be nice. Overall, it was a great vacation and I would definitely stay at this condo again!

Perfect Sunset(s) Indeed!!!
This was our second stay at Maui Kai, but the first time in room 605. Great rate, spotless room and stunning view for sure! The entire rental process was a breeze thanks to the experienced staff at Perfect Sunset. They provided an enormous amount of activity reference material in the room, satisfying the "snorkel freak" in both of us! If you can't bring your own snorkel, boogie board or beach gear, all of that & more is provided for you. Yep.....we'll be back!!!!

Sunsets made in Heaven
We could not have asked for a more perfect experience! Sitting on our Lanai every morning having coffee, watching the whales and beautiful ocean. Again in the evenings watching the heavenly sunsets took our breath away! The condo was beautiful with everything you could ever need, including Beach towels, snorkel gear, etc. Very conveniently located to restaurants and beach path walking. You can walk all the way into Whalers village if you like. The grounds around the condo are very clean and beautifully kept. I highly recommend Condo 605 and plan to stay here again in the future!

Hidden Gem
Sylvia provided amazing customer service! The property was exactly at described, clean and maintained with personal welcoming touches. We enjoyed manyl the recommended restaurants (Duke's, Pizza Paridiso) and snorkeling activities in the condo's activity folder! Very handy to have the great beach towels included! The view is outstanding; which will bring me back again someday. Fully equipt kitchen with a nearby grocery saved us a lot of time and money so we can enjoy the view /lanai more! I recommend this rental without hesitation! So worth the value. If the bathroom is upgraded I worry that the price will be a lot more expensive.

We stayed at Maui Kai in Room 605 from Nov. 2-Nov. 6th 2017. It was a beautiful condo with even better views. It was quiet, peaceful, and loaded with everything we needed. It was a perfect trip! Love the free parking, WIFI, beach access, and pool.

Dreamy Maui Kai
Great location: quiet, close to all essential amenities but slightly off the main hubbub of action so you could rest. The most incredible part was the lanai; sitting there in the early morning with a cup of coffee or in the evening with a cool drink watching the ocean waves. Lovely

A Great Week
A great relaxing week in Kaanapali. We have stayed at the Maui Kai years ago. It is one of the best locations. Waterfront rooms, quiet, and a great location. Just sit on the deck and watch the whales all day long. Hope to make it back next year.

Unbeatable views, great location
This unit had everything our family of 4 needed for our vacation. The view is by far the best feature; we saw whales from the lanai every day. Location is convenient to many beaches, restaurants, and grocery stores. Pool is small compared to big resorts, but was still the perfect size for our kids to enjoy a few hours every afternoon. Other guests were friendly too. Highly recommend.

Great views
Stayed in March 2017, really epic views of whales nearly all day. Everything you need is provided. New patio furniture was great. Beach is very close by although large sections of the beach would need water shoes to swim in, fairly sharp coral/rocks at about waist depth. Made up for by how nice it is to lounge on the patio.

Maui Kai (Great views!)
The room was very clean and had a nice kitchen with basic supplies for cooking and a refrigerator. The customer service was very good as well. By far, the best part were the views on the balcony. We were practically in the ocean! I could've sat out there all day and just watched the whales and the other islands on the horizon. The views were better than most of the other fancy resorts which was what we wanted. Although it wasn't a huge issue, I would recommend a higher table on the balcony so you don't have to look through the rails at the oceans. Even without it it's still a fantastic view. Great time!

Maui Kai 605: Great Location, Great Views, close to everything
We had a wonderful 10 day long stay at Maui Kai Unit 605. We often go to Maui and have never been to a unit or hotel that oversees ocean so closely as this unit. You don't have to leave the unit and can spend the entire vacation just watching the waves all day.Best part is night , especially if you sleep in living room on sofa bed(which by the way was comfortable) and you will listen to waves all night. We almost felt like we were sleeping outside in the nature.Highly highly recommend it. It is close to supermarket, various restaurants, Lahaina , best beaches and the facility itself has pool.

Lovely views! Everything you need!
This sweet place was exactly what we needed! Comfy, well equipped in the kitchen to make yummy meals and save money for the fun activities of Maui. The sleep number bed was a welcome surprise! So great! The real reason to stay here is the unparalleled views! There are other resorts around, but the views from this unit are unmatched! Looks at Molokai, check out whales with the provided binoculars, and watch sunsets that will truly make you feel the magic of Maui. The nearby path to ocean boardwalk is fun and reveals an amazing stretch of beach. The decorations are fitting the island vibe, our girls loved the comfy hides a bed.
