Thank you so much for a wonderful stay! Your condo is outstanding - updated with great amenities. View from the deck, very comfortable furniture, all your kitchen needs are met. The pull out bed is very comfortable-just like a real bed - no bar in your back or anything! The property itself is outstanding. Just steps from the beach and a short walk to the pool. This complex is relaxed and casual filled with people of all ages - from babies to seniors all having fun in the sun. The beach is perfect with great swimming and snorkling or try your hand at surfing. Short drive to great restaurants and shopping and of course there is the rest of that beautiful island. THANK YOU for a wonderful trip.

Wonderful Stay in Kiahuna #33
Wonderful vacation. Thank you for renting your condo to us Elizabeth. The renovations you have done enhance the property. I was actually quite pleased with how spacious the condo actually is. The location in the complex is great, close to the beach and that nice open area to sit and relax. We made use of some of your beach gear which was really appreciated. The information you gave us for walks, restaurants, shopping, etc. was very helpful. We felt very comfortable and relaxed right away. We wouldn't hesitate to rent number 33 again. Thanks again. Kiahuna Frequenter
Our family enjoys the Kiahuna Plantation for the location at the beach and the open spaces of lawn and garden. I have stayed in several of the condominiums at Kiahuna over the years with my adult children and the renovations on this condo are the best of the best, giving it the roomiest feel of all the others I have experienced. For example, this condo has a larger flat-panel TV screen that hangs on a strategic spot on the wall in the dining area instead of the usual location in the living area by the kitchen. This frees up more space around the kitchen which has already been enhanced by removing the usual divider walls that separate the kitchen from the dining and living areas. My kids like to cook and bake, so the stainless steel kitchen appliances are a real plus. So is the large selection of spices and sauces. (Not found at the other condos.) The set of cutting knives hanging on a magnetic plate on the wall were a conversation piece. I slept well in the pull-out bed which has a particularly good mattress and pull-out mechanism. The king-size regular bed is great, which I also tried out for a couple nights after my big kids had returned to school. And there's the iHome docking station alarm clock for the iPhone. Hooks in the entry and in the bath where needed for hanging clothes. The location of the condo being so near the beach with an ocean view from the Lanai is great too. Looking forward to staying there again!

We spent nine fantastic days at the Kiahuna Plantation, condo #33. Elizabeth gave us a lot of information about restaurants, walking possibilities, and excursions. She was making our stay wonderful. The condo is fully equipped and you have an arrival set of tea and coffee which is really nice. Spices, oil, vinegar, etc. are available too.. The beach is really near and we enjoyed to use the beach chairs (new for us arriving from Switzerland!) and all the beach equipment available. We enjoyed to eat every day on the lanai with the view on the ocean. We can highly recommend this nice and quiet condo. Thank you for all you did for us.

Our family's First trip to Kauai (Hawaii too!)
Our family (4 adults and 9 month old boy) was staying at Kiahuna Plantation, condo # 33 for total of 11 nights at the end of April beginning of May 2018. We had a wonderful time. Condo is fully equipped, it has everything what you need to enjoy your vacation and even more. Kitchen is equipped on 100%, I can't even think about a thing which wasn't on that kitchen! All appliances in a perfect condition, brand new large refrigerator, flat-screen TV with Netflix and cable, very fast WI-FI. The big thing for us was that Elizabeth provided a little collapsible crib, which perfectly fit in a master bedroom between a wall and a bed. Our son liked that crib a lot and had a very peaceful sleep in there. There are tons of local guides about places on the island you might want to visit. Little tip - go to app store on your phone and invest $6 in the app where the guide tells you in a fun manner about places your driving through. I don't remember the name of the app, but this dude was hilarious! The condominium complex itself located between two large 5 stars hotels, where you can go and enjoy a dinner or breakfast, or maybe a drink. Condo is in direct proximity to the beach with all amenities included. No lifeguard on duty however, so watch yourself and your kids swimming. I rented a long serf-board over there (1 hour $10, cards are accepted), but since it was my first time I wasn't really catching any waves, but the whole experience was very fun. You can also take a surfing class. I watched the guy was training people all day long, and they had a lot of fun too. BBQ stations are everywhere, all well-maintained, staff cleans them every morning, we were really enjoying BBQing at nights. Oh this is my favorite part. Meat on this island is really cheap, I mean really really cheap, all local and grass-fed. You can buy a large chunk of rib-eye stake for $6 in a local grocery store. But I went even further I googled a local farm-store which is within 15 minutes driving and bought really good beef in there. I mean there are so much pleasant things I have not mentioned about this condo, but I don't want to repeat previous reviews, which I fully confirm. The overall experience of staying at Elizabeth' residence was enjoyable, calm, peaceful and hustle-free, everything what would you expect from a perfect vacation. We highly recommend this place! Our Favorite Vacation Every Year
Just returned from our annual visit to Kauai. Thank you for all your personal touches in the condo. We love the changes you are making and enjoyed staying there for our second time. You have truly put a personal touch to your home, and it makes us feel like we are family. Your pantry/closet was a true gift for the few things your only need to use once or twice. The location to the beach is perfect. Kauai is our happy place and we look forward to returning next year. THANK YOU ELIZABETH!!

Perfect Kauai Vacation!
Thank you for the use of your lovely home at Kiahuna. The distance from the water is ideal. We loved having breakfast on the lanai, loved the breeze coming through the windows at night. We much appreciated all the little touches you provide, from the closet of toys to the laundry soap. We did a lot of hiking around the island, ate up a storm at excellent restaurants, took a fabulous helicopter ride, took in a luau, and relaxed big time. Amazing. Anyway, thank you for all your hospitality and solicitude over email and for all the special touches you added to make our vacation most wonderful.

Poipu Beach
Why is Poipu Beach rated one of the most beautiful beaches in the world? You have to see it to believe it. It is one of the few beaches of its kind you can access on all of Kauai. Poipu Beach is by far the most popular beach on Kauai’s south shore (and arguable on the entire island). In the past, The Travel Channel has named Poipu Beach as America’s Best Beach. Golden sand greets beach visitors and you can relax on complimentary beach chairs. The beach’s crescent shape creates a natural wading pool of calm, brilliant blue waters. Visitors can enjoy snorkeling, swimming, boogie-boarding and light surfing.
Poipu Beach Athletic Club
Want to get in shape or stay on your exercise schedule? Guests of our condos at Kiahuna Plantation have free access to the Poipu Beach Athletic Club (PBAC), just a short walk across Poipu Road. PBAC is located right across the street from Kiahuna Plantation and has state of the art exercise equipment available for your use. Weight lifting, cardio or a combination, you will find options for all of that and more. There is also an outdoor pool with a water slide, “beach shore†and jacuzzi. This is great if you want a break from the ocean or to keep a closer eye on children. And do not forget the tennis courts, Basketball courts and Pickle Ball for a friendly game or two. Also there is a Pro Shop where you can peruse clothing and gear to play. PBAC also includes “Hapas Restaurant†for casual dining with occasional live music concerts as well.
Plantations Gardens Restaurant
Don’t feel like cooking for dinner? Stop by for a gourmet meal at the Plantations Garden Restaurant. Just a short walk away, glowing tiki torches surround the restaurant as does the beautiful Moir Gardens. Plantation Gardens Restaurant’s menu features Pacific Rim cuisine, as well as regional Hawaiian influences. The restaurant’s fresh fish is caught daily by local fishermen right off of Kauai. Vegetables are organically grown with other herbs produced by nearby farms or the restaurant’s very own gardens.
Kauai Surf School
Located on the sunny Poipu beach at the Kiahuna beach shack, the Kauai Surf school offers lessons every day, throughout the year. The Kauai Surf school offers group & private surf lessons for beginners and week long surf clinics for beginners to intermediate level. Learning to surf is easy & fun with its professional staff, excellent equipment and fun Kauai waves!
Kiahuna Golf Club
Love Golf? Enjoy your game surrounded by lush, natural beauty of Kauai in the sunny Poipu beach. The Kiahuna Golf Club offers 18 holes, par 70 and 6925 yards. Historic Hapa Trail
Hapa Trail at the South Shore is a very historic dirt trail that runs behind the St. Raphael’s Church. Check out the archeological sites and preserves in the area including the extensive and ingenious ‘auwai system the Hawaiians built to irrigate the area known as the Koloa Field System. The trail runs from Poipu to Koloa and it has been designated by County of Kauai as pedestrian and bike way

Kaihuna Beach, (Haleolia Bay) is an extension of the world famous Poipu Beach is Awesome for all actifities and ages. Best 'learn to surf' beach Kauai. Many surfing schools teach here. Kauai Surf School is right on site by the Beach Hut. Pre order lessons during holiday season or you won't be able to book! wonderful snorkeling, boogies boarding and body surfing.
Note: Safely enjoy the beaches of Kauai. EZ Rule: DON'T swim where others aren't swimming to avoid Sleeper Riptides.
