AMAZING PLACE, GREAT HOSTS!!!
It was wonderfull ! We, a party of five friends (two couples and a friend) enjoyed staying 6 days in Dianas and Troys house. First of all, the hosts were great! They were very lovely and always available if we needed anything. We left just one day before hurricane Iselle hit the island. We never experienced a hurricane before. They told us everything we needed to know and really calmed us down. But not only the hosts were great. The house is amazing. We really enjoyed the pool and the jacuzzy. Also the house itself is great. The master bedroom has an awesome bathroom and also the kitchen is very well equipped. And there was also the bbq and the fireplace outside we used multiple times. We would definitely rent the house again!

BEST PART OF OUR VACATION!
The pictures do not do the place justice. Beautiful home, AWESOME view, and best location! We had 6 adults and 5 kids with us. The house is big enough for all of us and we all fit and slept comfortably. Although we were on vacation on the beautiful island of Maui, staying in this home felt like a vacation in itself because it felt very luxurious! The beach was a short drive but it was great to have the option of having a pool and Jacuzzi. We were in there everyday. The house is also very close to Kihei and Wailea and we took surf lessons just down the street at Maui Wave Riders. We all didn't want to leave! I would recommend this house to families with children. The best part for our kids was that there were board games to play with for family game night! Troy and Dianne thought of everything!

AMAZING
We were two families including four teenagers visiting Mauï and it was just the perfect house to be. The feeling of quietness and beauty was exaclty what we found every day at this place after a wonderful day visiting the Island. The owners were very friendly and helpful, making our stay memorable. FABULOUS HOME!!
My hubby & I renewed our vows on the beach for our 20th anniversary and the best present was renting this beautiful home. It has EVERTHING you could possibly want on vacation including perfect host's in Troy & Dianna. They graciously allowed us to pop in early to drop off our luggage and continued to share their abundant aloha spirit throughout our stay. They were there if you needed them and gone when not. We split the rental with four other family members and highly recommend doing this as long as you choose the right members! We did and it equated into the most fun and relaxing vacation we have ever been blessed with. We decided on the way back to Alaska that we will be back to thaw out again, sooner rather than later! Mahalo again T & D, you guys are awesome! P.S. we miss the pool so much, that's the only thing I'm crying about!

LITTLE GEM
Our family and nanny stayed here in May. It was so nice to be in a quiet residential neighborhood that was also very close to the beach, markets, and restaurants. The house itself is the perfect setup...parents on one side and two other bedrooms on the other. Because the master bedroom was so spacious, we had our 8 month old twins (each in a separate pack n play) in our room. This gave the nanny a very private oasis on the other side of the house, with her own nicely appointed bathroom. The kitchen, dining room, and livingroom were all open which was fabulous (our boys were just learning to crawl and there was a lot of nice hardwood floor open space). But the best part of the house were the livingroom windows/sliding glass doors that looked out over the beautiful backyard and infinity pool. These window/doors completely opened the span of the room and made the backyard a theoretical extension of the house. It was wonderful to wake up, open up, and have our coffee and breakfast outside. The pool was a perfect temp and gave us a nice option when we didn't want to visit the beach. The backyard also had a built-in BBQ (which we used almost every night) and a fire pit where we made s'mores one evening. The kitchen was completely stocked with appliances and utensils and there was also a newer washer/dryer for us to use. The owners were very personable. We found them to be helpful and responsive even before we arrived on the island. In short, we look forward to staying here the next time that we are in Maui (hopefully, it will be available). We loved it!

PARADISE PLUS A POOL!
This property is all you need for a perfect Hawaiian vacation! This property included every comfort you can think of with a beautiful pool and a spectacular view. However it is very close to great beaches and ocean activities. The owners were fabulous. It was the best scenario They were nearby if we needed anything but gave us complete privacy. Our family would absolutely stay here again!

REST AND RELAXATION!!
We chose this house to get away from it all, we wanted peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle of resort stays. This place was that and more! My dad, my sister, her friend and myself were looking forward to experiencing Maui and we definitely did that with the owner's help. They were so wonderful to us when we arrived, we were completely at home the minute we met them. Actually probably before we met as we talked on the phone several times and Troy was so easy to get along with! :) They were very helpful in giving suggestions on activities and also by being just a door knock away. For the first few days all we did was sleep, roll out of bed into the pool or onto a lounge chair to tan (for us girls)!!! and once we caught up on rest we ventured out. Everything is so close it was great, we could be shopping or on the beach within minutes of leaving our home. I say home and mean it as we were so comfortable in the space it was so hard to leave. Even now it feels like it was a fairytale and we dreamed it all, it was so perfect! I would highly recommend this house to anyone looking to get away from it all, we spoiled ourselves and it was worth it!!

EXCELLENT VACATION!
We stayed at this house for almost 2 weeks with 2 families of four (kids age 5,6,8,8). On Maui we usually end up at a different beach every day so we weren't overly concerned with having a place right across the street from the beach. This house is in a nice residential area with the closest beach being about 3-4 minutes by car. Within 10 minutes the options are limitless. The house itself is in great shape. It is well decorated and extremely clean. The master bedroom is enormous. The owners provided a very large (almost queen sized) inflatable bed so we were able to blow that up in the master bedroom and house 2 adults and 2 kids there. The other family had their own private space at the other end of the house with one bedroom for the kids and one for the adults, as well as their own bathroom. Really an ideal setup for 2 families if one family doesn't mind sharing a room with their kids. The backyard is perfect for afternoons/evenings hanging around the pool drinking Mai Tai's. The pictures don't do it justice. The infinity pool backs onto lush vegetation and a gorgeous ocean view. There are outdoor speakers so you can plug in your tunes and create the perfect atmosphere. The pool/spa heating and filter system is a bit complicated, but once the owner explained how it all worked we were able to run it ourselves with no trouble. The spa heats up in about 10 minutes so you just start it running a little bit ahead of when you want to swim. The kitchen was huge and had just about every appliance and utensil you could every want. Unlike most of the places we have rented on Maui, the pots, pans, knives, dishes, etc.. were almost brand new and all quite good quality. This was a big bonus for a crowd who likes to do their own cooking. We'll definitely be back! FYI...you definitely need a car if you're staying here.

TWO WEDDINGS
I am a former Maui resident, and this property was everything we expected and MORE!! We had 2 beach weddings while on Maui and had our receptions by the pool. There was 6 of us and we were VERY comfortable. This property worked out beautifully for us. It is close to everything, Beach, Shopping, Grocery, etc. The owners were available at a moments notice if we needed them, and definitely have the Aloha Spirit. Bottom line....can't go wrong, I would recommend this property to anyone headed to Maui.

Perfect
Troy and Dianna's home in Kihei was perfect for our vacation. We really enjoy cooking, so the fully stocked kitchen with all the utensils you could possibly need and the outside BBQ was in constant use. The house has a Sonos music system which allowed us to listen to our own music having cocktails in the pool. The house offers a surprising amount of privacy given it's central location, with big hedges that doesn't impact the stunning view of Maalaea Bay.

The property worked well for us. We had 4 grandchildren who could enjoy the pool and hot tub between activities. The house comes with everything you need. We cooked a few meals there as well as did laundry with what was provided all we had to do was get food. The outdoor grill worked well and we used the fire pit to do marshmallows one night. The owners greeted us and walked through the systems in house. Everything worked. The only issues we had is the DVD player did not work in the family room but did in bedroom. Owner is aware and is planning fix. The other thing is the pipes in the place banged occasionally and the owner is going to get that looked at so I do not expect either of these to be an issue for future guests. The owners were very friendly and were very responsive the whole time we were there. It was nice having them close by. The house came with 3 regular beds which were in good shape and two top of the line air beds which worked great for the children. The television is hooked up to direct tv in the family room and master bedroom. This gave us plenty of viewing options including cartoons for the grand kids.

Great location and view
The property was awesome and made our family trip amazing. The view was fantastic while the rooms and space was very comfortable. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. You can’t beat the location if you’re looking at staying on the southern part of Maui.

All we wanted and more!
We had two families, with 4 adults and 6 kids staying at Troy and Diana's house and we had an INCREDIBLE time here! Troy and Diana were very friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable about the island. Even though their cottage is right on the property, we felt like the home was all "ours" for the 8 nights we were there. They were not intrusive at all. The house was great. The kitchen was a great place, open and well equipped and we gathered here several nights for home-made dinners. Beds were very comfortable and even though some of the kids slept on blow-up mattresses, they were very comfortable as well. The younger kids essentially lived in the pool/hot tub whenever we were home and it was perfect for them. It was such a relief to be able to watch them have a great time in the pool while we prepared meals or cleaned up. We would not have been able to do such in a condo or resort with a shared pool. The home is very close to the beaches and shopping in Kihei, plus a Safeway. We were within minutes of driving to several beaches, all with different characters. It was a struggle to leave and we can't wait to go back some day. Thank you so very much for contributing to an amazing vacation for our two families, Troy and Diana. Beautiful home!
We really enjoyed our stay. We were on a special trip for my parents 40th wedding anniversary and all 6 of us had a fabulous time. The pool and views of the property are stunning and so relaxing. We enjoyed our 6am wakeup call watching the sunrise in the back yard and having our own pool to lounge around was everything you could ask for. The house was well equiped with everything you might need which made it feel like home. Thank you again for the wonderful stay... we will be back some day im sure !

Wonderful Family Holiday
What an amazing 8 nights our family had! On arrival we were greeted by Troy and Dianna. They made us feel very welcome and walked us round their beautiful home, showing us all the extra features that the house had to offer. From the moment we looked out of the sliding patio doors we were stunned by the wonderful view. The poolside area was so inviting, the pool was very big and the views of the mountains, trees and ocean were impressive. This view often kept us at the house rather than venturing out! The house is very spacious, very comfortable, very well stocked and unbelievably clean. It is by far the cleanest and tidiest home we have ever rented! The bedrooms are spacious with comfy beds and quality linens. The master bedroom and bathroom are very impressive and we all enjoyed using the shower, especially as we could listen to music whilst enjoying the best soaking from the many shower heads! The kitchen was very large, well stocked and was equipped with every possible electrical appliance or utensil you could think of. The outside sound system was a huge hit with our teenagers as was the swimming pool. The location of the home was perfect, set high up in a residential area giving us privacy and perfect views. It is close to a variety of fantastic beaches, restaurants and supermarkets and great location when exploring other parts of the island. We especially enjoyed spending time at Makena Beach (Big Beach) which was only a few minutes drive away. We would highly recommend this home to any family. We are already missing the birds chirping and the stunning views. Thank you so much Troy and Dianna for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home!

An unforgettable family trip!
This was our first extended family vacation and we feel so fortunate to have found Troy and Dianna's beautiful home to rent. This South Kihei jewel was perfect for our family of 10 (including 2 grandparents and 4 kids aged 3-10). The kids enjoyed the child friendly pool and the adults loved the hot tub. The sliding doors that opened completely to the backyard with the Sonos music system is the best way to appreciate the beauty of Maui! Details we appreciated: abundance of beach towels, bath towels, fully stocked and equipped kitchen, and comfortable queen sized air mattresses. The location is ideal--close to Safeway, Foodland for groceries and local eateries. Ulua beach is a 5 minute drive away, great for snorkelling with young kids. The owners are easily accessible to help with minor issues that came up (they live in a house on the same property so we still retain our privacy). Mahalo Troy and Dianna for opening your home to us! Excellent choice for our family
We stayed 7 nights with mom and dad, grandma and three kids (11-18). Very happy with the home. We had plenty of room to spread out, and -- while we made many trips around Maui -- we also spent time enjoying the beautiful pool and view at the home. We liked Kihei a lot -- very informal, relaxed little town. And we were only 5 minutes literally from Wailea and all of its fancy amenities and stores and restaurants. The beaches near this home are amazing. "Big Beach" is maybe 10-12 minutes away and is the nicest beach we've ever been to. The home itself was in exceptional condition. Clean and spacious. The kitchen had everything you could want. Excellent. Only caveat is that I'd say "room for 10" is a bit of a stretch. We had 6 and were more than fine. But 10 would have been very tight. The kitchen table seats 5 and there are three beds total. Sleeping 10 would have meant 4 people sharing two aero-beds, Highly recommend this home for groups of 7-8 or fewer. Troy and Diana were very kind, friendly, accomodating hosts. Mahalo.

SOUTH MAUI HIDEAWAY ARE YOU READY TO HAVE FUN
This place is by far amazing. The photos don't really do it justice. The rooms are very spacious and the pool and hot tub are truly amazing. I stayed with a group of 10 and we had a great time. The three bed rooms and 2 Queen blow up beds worked well. Blow up mattresses are blow up mattresses... but we had a great time. The kitchen is very well equipped and had everything we needed. The tiled master shower with all the shower heads was so cool. Great sonos speakers throughout the house and outside by the pool were utilized daily! Great location that feels homey, and still close to great beaches and stores. Stay here, you won't be disappointed. Thanks Troy and Diana!!

GREAT TIME
A group of 10 of us (6 adults and 4 children) stayed at Troy and Diana's in February 2017. We had an absolutely fantastic stay at their place and loved our time on Maui. The house is lovely and has everything one would need to cook and relax in the house or poolside. The pool was wonderful and our children played in it constantly while we were able to watch them while cooking in the kitchen or simply relaxing. The house was very clean and the beds were exceptionally comfortable. Troy and Diana's is not walking distance from the beach but there are MANY gorgeous beaches within a short drive from their home. They also have some beach chairs, beach towels, a cooler, and some snorkel gear you can borrow which was awesome! Kehei is a nice central location on the island where it is easy to get to beaches, take snorkel or whale watching cruises from Maalaea harbor, go out to eat, or go on a zip lining tour etc. We loved our trip and cannot say enough nice things about Troy and Diana as they were so kind and such wonderful hosts!

PARADISE FOUND
Paradise found. The sunset view from the fire pit spans from Makena, Molakini and Kahoolawe and made the vacation. Troy and Dianna were attentive and responsive hosts. Fun, engaged, helpful and not in our space. We planned our vacation around spending as much time outdoor living as possible. Between the patios, hot tub, infinity pool and outdoor dining areas we could not have been happier. The pride of ownership can be felt throughout the property. We loved the Sonos controllable speakers throughout; which allowed us to adjust volumes based on mood, time of day and who might be enjoying a vacation nap. The location is a perfect jumping off point for South Maui, Makena and Wailea and there is a beach a short 3-minute drive from the house. Maui is always amazing and this fit right in. This property is amazing and had a fantastic time.

THIS HOUSE IS AMAZING
This house is amazing. The floorplan is smart and the rooms are large. The outdoor spaces are phenomenal and the large sliding glass door made the indoor and outdoor spaces seamless. Troy and Dianna were easy to work with and the price is reasonable for the space. You definitely get a lot of bang for your buck. I would definitely rent this house again for a future vacation. PERFECT HOUSE
We loved our stay at Troy and Dianna's house. I booked this house for a week long vacation with my parents, fiancé and my sister, so I needed to find a place that would comfortably accommodate 5 adults in three bedrooms. This location turned out to be a great choice. When we got to Maui, Troy and Dianna were already expecting us and had the house in perfect shape for our arrival. Communication with them was simple and responsive. When we arrived in Kihei, the place was very well kept, perfectly clean and even looked better in reality than on the pictures we had already seen. The neighborhood is very quiet and private, yet fairly close to the main roads that take you around the island. The pool, of course, is gorgeous and well worth the stay, but we also had all sorts of necessities and amenities at our disposal, such as beach towels and other pool gear, as well as a perfectly equipped kitchen. We like to cook our own meals and really enjoyed having such a nice kitchen and the BBQ at our fingertips. Overall, we stayed a week and every morning you'd wake up feeling energized by the surroundings. Other things we really liked: the house is very spacious and the bathrooms are luxurious. The house also sports a Sonos system with speakers facing the pool. It's great to have some music playing while you relax at the pool! There are plenty of seating spaces, both inside and outside. The dining table can easily fit 6 adults for a full dinner and there is plenty of dishes, silverware and glasses of all kinds. The bedding was very nice and comfortable too. The pool has mood lightning which creates great ambiance in the evening. Out in the front of the house, there is covered room for two cars. Also, I'm a kiteboarder and brought some equipment with me to Maui. I had no problems finding enough space to store my equipment during the stay. We'd really like to thank Troy and Dianna for running this place the way they do. They take great care and pride in this location and that really shows. We'll definitively plan to stay here again, next time we come back to Maui.
