We visited Mana Kai for our Spring Break. Suite #706 A & B. 2 adults, 2 teens. The location bridging Kihei and Wailea is great and the beach in front of the building (Keawakapu) is phenomenal. Beautiful reef snorkelling most mornings right out front. And the beach equipment store and the grocery store below are very convenient. The views from this suite are stunning!! All of the suite facilities are great. Good beds (a king in each section), bathrooms, kitchen, living area. We didn't even turn on the tv. A few manageable issues: Check in is complicated. Because we booked through VRBO we had to wait for someone to contact us with the entry code. The hotel could not help us. This was unnecessary, especially at midnight. Try to get the entry code before your arrival, contrary to provided instructions. When it is windy you can hear and feel it. Wifi is great but only in the main suite. Wifi in the lock-off is minimal. Needs a booster. This building is beachfront, the Wailea walking beach path is further south. I would definitely recommend this suite and the Mana Kai. Thank you for a great trip. We had a blast. The Mana Kai Maui resort has been a fan favorite condo property in south Maui for decades. The property is so highly praised because of its superb location at the start of Keawakapu beach. The white sand beach stretches for over a mile, right into wailea, ending in front of the high-end Andaz resort. Guests can choose to walk along the great beach, catch some rays, or snorkel right in front of the property (where turtles are often spotted).
Besides the beachfront location, guests will enjoy a slew of on-site amenities. For starters, the private beachfront pool is a great option for taking a refreshing dip while you still enjoy views of ocean and beach goers. The ground floor open-air restaurant overlooking Keawakapu beach enjoys views that are just as amazing as the food. The five palms restaurant is famous for having one of the most popular happy hours on Maui. Pull up a chair at the bar for a tropical cocktail! Other onsite amenities include a deli/general store where you can pick up snacks for the beach, a surf shack where you can rent stand up paddle boards, and even an activity desk for booking all your favorite Maui adventures.
This two bedroom condo is 814 square feet and has ocean views from your private lanai, living room, and bedrooms. There is a king bed in the main bedroom and a king bed in the second bedroom. There is also a queen-sized sleeper sofa with a new upgraded deluxe mattress to comfortably sleep two additional guests. Take advantage of the full kitchen to prepare breakfasts and lunches. There is also free WiFi internet, cable TV, DVD player, and in room safe, and ceiling fans. The master bath and the 2nd bathroom have a shower/tub combination.
