Perfect
This was the exactly what we had hoped for. The beach location is so beautiful and we loved being on the quiet side of the island. Kathy was great and her daughter that lives close by was very helpful with local information and guidance. We spent time at the North Shore and on the Honolulu side of the island but were always glad to go "home" to the quiet beach and condo. The corner unit was great for a breeze that kept us cool and comfortable. Great place. Would definitely stay here again.

Fabulous stay in paradise!
I must admit; however, when we drove up, we were a little taken a back because the outside front of the building looked somewhat broken down and very old. I was somewhat embarrassed as I recommended this place to other family members who were also going to be staying there in other units at the same time. I was so pleasantly surprised to walk into the Kathy's beautiful condo which you would never expect looking from the outside of the building. Don't let the outside of the building fool you. Two other sets of our family booked two other units of Kathy's. Everyone was very pleased with their units. The only suggestion I would have is to supply rice cookers in each of the units. One of the units had one; however, our's did not. Other than that, everything that we needed was supplied. There were a lot of spices already there. I purchased a lot of spices before arriving to the condo not knowing what was already there. Many visitors donate what they don't use to the condo. There was sunscreen, aloe (for after sun), itch medicine, spices, etc. We left detergent for the washer and dryer sheets for the dryer along with more spices. I liked the fact that there was security at night in the parking lot watching over everyone's cars. Even though we never left anything of value in the car, it was nice to know there was security. The property sits on a beautiful beach with reef protected waters. Even though up North Shore the waves were big and unswimmable, at Pat's at Punalu'u - the water was calm. We were there for a family reunion, and all family members thanked me for recommending these condos. Jay (Kathy's son) was fabulous and responded quickly when we needed light bulbs replaced. He was very accommodating and friendly. I made it a point to text him at the end of the trip to tell him to help himself to all our unopened canned and frozen food, and beverages for his family. It was great having 3 sets of families staying in 3 of Kathy's condos. Worked out perfectly and everyone was happy. It was one of our best vacations that we have had in Hawai'i, and I've been to Hawai'i many times. I would recommend Kathy's condos in a heartbeat.

Just as perfect as I could have hoped for...
I was traveling with my 17 month old so I wanted to find a place that was toddler friendly AND away from the big cities, tourists and crowds. This was such a perfect location for us, the unit was beautiful, with gorgeous panoramic views and a huge wrap around lanai that we ate most of our meals on and it provided a nice outdoor play space as an extension to the living room. One thing I will add for anyone traveling with small children who are testing out gravity, the lanai is enclosed so little one's cannot throw anything off of the lanai several stories down. There was no need for AC, the cross breeze was pleasant and cooled down the unit sufficiently and it was so quiet that most nights all I could hear was the wind blowing the palm trees outside. The complex is close to the road but I found that closing the bedroom window at night reduced any noise it caused. I also loved having all of the sand toys available for my daughter and other beach accessories so we didn't have to buy or bring our own. The kitchen also had the basic essentials we needed for cooking meals. Also, the beach is just steps away from the building with a lush green lawn full of picnic tables, lounge chairs and grills. There is a very small market just across the street (Kaya's) that you can find very basic items and buy a really wonderful meal (2 Bald Guys) or buy some fresh fruits or a smoothie from the fruit stand outside. Otherwise, a larger market is about 10 minutes away as are several really great kid friendly activities. I really hope we find ourselves in O'ahu in the future so we can stay here again.

Beautiful Condo with a Beautiful View
Our family stayed in this condo for two weeks and were sad to leave it! We have children ages 13, 10, and 8 and found this condo very clean and accommodating. The open floor plan allowed for plenty of space for a roll away bed. The condo was fully stocked with everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. They provide beach towels, beach toys and snorkel gear, beach chairs, a cooler and much more to make your beach outings simple. We enjoyed the fully stocked kitchen for preparing meals and loved to enjoy our meals out on the large lanai, which also has a nice dining set. The washer and dryer came in handy especially with kids. We were always able to have clean beach towels and sand free bathing suits and leave for home with a suitcase full of clean clothes! The ocean is right in your backyard! The water at this location was perfect for my kids to play in without any worries. They also enjoyed the swimming pool. We loved the location of this condo. We were away from the hustle and bustle of downtown, but close enough for a short drive to anyplace we wanted to visit. A very short drive to the PCC, Turtle Bay, the North Shore and hiking. The owners of the condo were amazing! They made sure we had everything we needed and provided many tips for making our vacation memorable. They were prompt to address any concerns and were very generous. We hope to stay in this condo again next time we visit Oahu.

The 'Gathering Place' and is home of Waikiki, Diamond Head and Pearl Harbor. The windward side retains the subtle feeling of old Hawaii, a Hawaii before the multi-story hotels and condos of Waikiki and the urban traffic, hustle and bustle of Honolulu. It still has that wonderful sense of 'Aloha' that you are welcomed and a friend.
Pat's a Punalu'u is about 30 miles from Waikiki and the Honolulu International Airport. The condo sits on a private, reef-protected beach, which is great for kids. The water is about waist to chest deep along the beach and is excellent for snorkeling. There is also a fresh water swimming pool, outdoor shower and exercise room.
You are 45-minutes from the nightlife of Waikiki or snorkeling at Hunauma Bay.
Our one-bedroom 'end unit' can accommodate up to five guests with a king bed in the bedroom, a queen sofa sleeper and a roll away and/or crib by request. It has a full-size remodeled kitchen and a washer and dryer...though you will probably be 'living' in T-shirts, shorts and swimsuits. The condo has ceiling fans, cable TV, stereo and lots of books - including many guidebooks to Hawaii. We provide beach chairs, towels, a beach umbrella, snorkeling equipment, ice chest and other items for your trips to the beach. All you need is your sunscreen and swimsuits.
Amenities:
Outdoor Showers
Exercise Room
Picnic Area
24 Hour Security
Elevators
Condo Amenities
End Unit with Lots of Windows for Ocean Viewing
Fully Furnished Kitchen with stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, etc.
Ceiling Fans
Private.
Wrap-Around Lanai with Dining Set
Beach Chairs, Snorkeling Equipment
Queen Sofa Sleeper in Living Room

There are many things to do without leaving the condo. Watch the sun as it rises over the ocean from your lanai. The reef-protected ocean in front of the condo is perfect for swimming, snorkeling, or kayaking. Visit the nearby Polynesian Cultural Center, which tells the tales of the many different islands of the Pacific. If it's winter, along the North Shore you'll be treated to 30 to 40-foot tall waves and some of the world's best surfers. You'll also find Waimea Bay where Captain Cook anchored and the beautiful Waimea Falls Park with its sacred sites, waterfall and wonderful hula dancers.
Or drive a few more miles to the quaint town of Haleiwa and its many art galleries and boutiques. There is also horseback riding, golfing, hiking, deep-sea fishing, surfing and all sorts of water activities. Or if you are in the mood for shopping you are only 40 minutes from Waikiki.
