Minimum Stay“Perfect little cottage with so much to offer”
I've been lucky enough to have stayed at "Nemo's Nest" several times over the last year. "Nemo's Nest" is a hidden GEM amongst the many other vacation homes available on the North Shore…and I've stayed at many of them throughout the years. It's small and cozy, yet it offers many luxuries not normally found in beach front properties. Some of them include A/C throughout the house (you'll appreciate it when you need to escape the heat/humidity), WiFi, a large modern kitchen and even a "jacuzzi" tub. Outside is a spacious yard with an outdoor shower, and picnic table...perfect for watching the sun rise/set or bbq'ing. The location is in a quiet neighborhood with great eateries, grocery stores and sandy beaches nearby. With all that being said, Darcelle and Mike (the owners) are great people and a pleasure to work with. We will definitely be back with the family on our next "staycation"!

“Real Hawaii - Laid back and Relaxing”
I've stayed at Nemo's numerous times for over a month each visit - mixed work with some vacation time. The house is clean, comfortable and exceeded any rental I've stayed at. Air conditioned (rare and very much appreciated when humid out), washer and dryer, right on the water. I was even here during a hurricane. Waves crashed in the backyard. Mike and Darcelle (property owners) are a pleasure to deal with. Immediate responses to calls or e-mailed questions. Area is quiet and walking distance to the market, drug store and good food - North Shore Taco's, Papa Ole's, Dominos Pizza. 3 minutes from Polynesian Cultural Center and 30 minutes to Sunset Beach. Great Location for enjoying the North Shore and staying away from Honolulu.

“Perfect Honeymoon - Private and Impeccable”
Friends that visit every year recommended Nemo's Nest. It's private, on the ocean but away from the main road that circles the island. When we arrived the owner greeted us and made us feel comfortable immediately. The interior of the house was spotless--photos do not do this place justice. We enjoyed the layout, the updated furnishings. Although we did not need this place comes with air conditioning through the house (not just a little window ac). The kitchen was great for preparing meals and there are a number of good grocery stores close by. The backyard had an outdoor shower which made it convenient after a day at the beach. Overall, we loved this place and the owners were great too.

“Fantastic Stay - Great House!”
We were lucky to get this home for the month of December. The owner was easy to work. When we arrived at Nemo's Nest the house was spotless. The photos do not do this place justice. Everything we needed was provided including towels, beach towels, BBQ. A big bonus is the air con system through the house (it's hard to find full a/c systems in homes in Hawaii). The yard, patio and outdoor shower were all pluses...but the best feature was being right on the ocean. There was a fishpond in the backyard...when the ocean was calm we went snorkeling and found lots of fish, trumpet fish, octopus...totally unreal. Overall an amazing stay...and we will definitely be back!
