We stayed here while my daughter went to a camp in nearby Cleveland. The cabin was perfect for my mom, son, and me. It is beautiful. There is a lot of space outside the cabin to spread out as well. We would stay here again.

A great getaway
The cabin is just as advertised. It is tucked in the woods at the end of a dirt road, very quiet and secluded. Interior is just as you see in the pictures. Helen is a quick 5 minute drive. Will be coming back to stay more than 2 nights.

Moose Creek Lodge
My sisters and I rented Moose Creek Lodge recently to celebrate one of our birthdays. The entire check in and check out process was smooth and efficient, and the staff was very polite. The staff even checked on us throughout our stay to assure thag everything was going well. Regarding the cabin itself, it was clean and cozy! The location is near other cabins, but Moose Creek is tucked away a bit into its own area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and we are planning to book again in the future!

Wonderful Cabin in the Woods
We had a wonderful stay at Moose Creek Lodge. The location was perfect! Anna Ruby Falls & Downtown Helen are within 15 mins of the cabin. The cabin was clean and perfect for our family of 4. (2 kids- age 5 & 8). The 2 twin beds worked perfect for the kids. There is a Jacuzzi Tub on the back porch as well but we did not use it. Our kids loved playing outside and exploring nature while my husband and I sat by the large fire pit and grilled out. We loved the seclusion of the cabin. No cars driving by or cabins/houses right on top of one another. We would definitely stay here again!

Fall Vacation
Was a great experience. It was super easy to book and the location was a perfect spot to visit many places in the NE Georgia Mountains. We will definitely book again in the future and I highly recommend it to anyone.

Great stay.
The cabin was very nice and cozy. We did have a great time. The only issues that we had was the roach problem and the water pressure in the shower also the shower is developing mold and needs to be cleaned very well.

Nice secluded cabin
Beautiful open cabin with the right amenities for a short stay. 3 minutes from Anna Ruby Falls and about 6 minutes to Helen. Very convenient location. The only thing that kept me from full 5 stars was the water pressure and hot and cold controls in the shower. Not sure how the pressure could be fixed but I think that the temperature controls could be. A few light bulbs were out along with the hot tub light. Still a great time.

Moose Creek Hide-A-Way !
Wonderful place to stay. Property was as presented quiet and some what excluded. The property was close enough to town without out the clutter and noise yet there if you wanted or needed to go . We would definitely go there again !

Best place ever

A great stay at Moose Lodge
We stayed here for a few nights in Feb. The cabin is very nice and while not too far from town feels secluded. The outdoor fire pit and indoor fireplace were great in the Feb weather, as were the outdoor hot tub and indoor bath. Great front porch for hanging out. Check in and out was super easy. I recommend.

Very cozy

Wonderful
We had an excellent time in this beautiful cabin. My only complaints were that there was a football game I wanted to watch and even through there is satellite, you can only pick up a few channels. Also, the cabin seems very secluded but in reality there are other lodgings just a few yards through the woods. Our “neighbors” were very loud and inconsiderate. However, it it weren’t for their volume, we would have never have known they were there. Other than that, it was an awesome experience. Truly a beautiful and relaxing setting.

Moose Creek Lodge Review
Excellent cabin for 2 or family of 4! The location was close to all the sites around Helen and the amenities were superb. The wood burning stacked stone fireplace was particularly wonderful. Although the drive/road leading to the cabin needs repair and some of the window blinds did not operate, all in all the cabin was an memorable stay.

Expectations
My family and I have been staying in cabins in the general Helen GA area since we were kids. when we first walked into this cabin, we were taken back by how cozy and welcoming the cabin was. Located just a couple miles out of Helen and a ten minute drive into Cleveland, the location couldn’t be better. However, the cabin was in need of some TLC. Mold in the shower and on shower curtain. Broken or missing wooden framing around doors from previous guests. The washing machine was not easy to use. The biggest issue was the poor airflow through the fireplace, which resulted in the cabin filling with smoke the first night we used it. The answer was to open the Luten window to allow for air to flow more freely. Uhhhh..... it was 17 degrees outside and as soon as you walked away from the fire, the cabin was freezing! This was very disappointing. Set proper expectations for your stay here - not bad but not great!

Felt like coming home
Visited Helen for July 4th weekend. My family has rented numerous cabins through Ga Mtn Rentals and Moose Creek Lodge is one of our favorites. Returning to the cabin felt like coming home after a long trip. Everything worked well: coffee pot, hot tub, screened in porch to share breakfast with loved ones. Water pressure was low in the shower and washer also had problems, but these issues were slight compared to the overall experience. Will be coming back soon (I think my wife already reserved a return visit).

Honey moon Retreat
We found this studio style cabin to be nice and secluded off the main road. You could hear the joy of kids playing in nearby places, but couldn't see anything. Enjoyed the hot tub in the screened porch, but it needs some patching up (kept 98% of the mosquitos out though). The sink faucets can use some TLC, but after learning their tendencies, it's not a big problem. Overall, the kitchen was great, but lacked measuring cups and spoons.

Perfect Little Cabin
I have been renting from Georgia Mtn Rentals for about 10 years, and their places never disappoint. Moose Creek Lodge has become a favorite for my boys and me. This trip was for me and two of my friends to have a girls' weekend. My friends absolutely LOVED it. I enjoy how it is close enough to the city to not be a pain to get to, but far enough away that you aren't burdened with city noise. I will be back again.

A REAL GEORGIA PEACH!
A 5-night stay in the Moose Creek Lodge in celebration of our 30th Anniversary. Beautiful cabin with lots of room & a real comfortable bed. It's about 10 minutes away from downtown Helen, a great Bavarian Village with lots of shops, bars & restaurants. There are also wineries & "nature parks" nearby & easily accessible. It's a great spot to wander out during the days & hang in by the fireplace and/or in the hot tub during the evenings.We had some significant challenges with our TV package upon check-in & lasting into the next day. Management responded promptly to our several emails, texts & calls, & the issue was resolved by the time we got back to the cabin on the evening of our second day. But beware - if you're a TV person you'll have access to only about 6 or 7 channels.But overall - an OUTSTANDING stay in a beautiful cabin.

Labor Day Weekend Mountain Getaway
Wow! That was my first reaction upon entering Moose Creek Lodge. The interior of the place is absolutely stunning. A lot of thought went into designing and decorating this mountain retreat. Everything was as described and the property management company was very easy to work with. I would recommend bringing along a flashlight however as someone removed the batteries from the one on the property. This property is a short 10 minute drive to Helen and only 90 minutes from North Carolina and the Harrah's Casino. I will definitely book this place again and am considering an autumn trip to see the beautiful colors of the Georgia Mountains.

very nice place
2nd time staying. only real issue is no light to read books, maps, etc. There are lights but up in the cathedral ceilings and so very little makes it down. we even brought one of our own desk lamps this time but was not really anyplace to plug in where we wanted to use so had to go buy an extension cord.

Rendezvous two
This is a charming one room cabin that is so homey and comfortable. We were only able to stay a couple nights but it was terrific rain and shine. I have a damaged kitchen renovation going on in my home four months now.. for the first time In 4 months I was able to fix an entire meal and bake an apple pie. So when the rain came I was happy and the tin roof was beautiful music to my ears. You can hike down the road a mile and see water falls, which we did in the sunshine. We both look forward to coming back again. The bed was so comfortable.
