We thoroughly enjoyed our week long stay at this cabin. The location is perfect and very close to all the activities in the area. The river setting is beautiful and an easy drive from Blue ridge. I would recommend this for a quiet getaway with friends or family gatherings. Check in and out was simple and the furnishing are the most comfortable of any cabin we have rented in the area. The set up is perfect for 2 couples looking to hide away and relax for a long weekend or extended stay. If the stairs to the river are too much for you, you can always take a stroll down the road to get to the river. Thanks for a great week with friends!!

Absolutely perfect!!
The easy to follow directions got our group safely to the house. The pictures didn't do this place justice! We entered into a huge open kitchen & livingroom. There was a deck off each bedroom that had great views. We enjoyed the two fire pits, hot tub, horseshoes, and of course...the river! The weather was perfect and we got a kick out of the party train that made runs during the day. The fenced in yard was ideal for our two dogs! The only two suggestions would be to get diffusers for the grill and make the pool table sturdy. I would highly recommend this place and we hope to return next year!

Thank You for Your Hospitality
Our family and friends just finished our trip and a wonderful Labor Day weekend at this cabin. Easy instructions, all amenities as advertised... Including the steps to the river. Ha Ha... Steps were not a problem and provided some exercise during our stay. The location was great and the house was very warm and inviting. Just a few minor repairs needing attention, which we noted in guest book. The outdoor fire pits were awesome and we loved tubing from the dam on Blue Ridge Lake down to the cabin. What a beautiful 1 1/2hr. river journey! Several other notes: We have been to the Blue Ridge, Ocoee area in the past. White Water rafting, Merciers Orchards, Town of Blue Ridge, Copperhill, TN and now the Toccoa River in Mineral Bluffs are our favorites. We chose not to eat out over the 3 days because we enjoyed staying at the cabin; cooking out and playing family games. If your looking for the perfect cabin, this is not it. Let me know if you ever can find perfection.... For our family, this was close enough!! For a family or friends looking for a cool place to stay, I Recommend staying here. Beautiful riverfront home
I rented this home on the river for a 30th birthday getaway with my sister and closest friends, and we had a wonderful time! Be prepared ... the steps leading to the dock/river across the road are a workout!! The inside of the home has everything you need for a comfortable stay, and it feels so cozy and inviting. The description of the home/photos/amenities were exactly as described. The home was very clean when we arrived, and well stocked with towels, linens, TP, etc. I'd definitely recommend this property. The river view is gorgeous, and the home is warm and inviting!

Toccoa River Getaway has something for everybody! This incredibly beautiful home provides everything needed for the perfect mountain getaway. The private, quiet surroundings of "Fishtrap Area" is part of the charm that brings people back time and time again! For the fly fishing enthusiast, you have the Toccoa River tail water right outside your door. The river is stocked with various types of trout year round.
Toccoa River Getaway is located ten minutes from downtown Blue Ridge, fifteen minutes to white water rafting and fifteen minutes from Lake Blue Ridge. The cabin offers all the amenities that one has come to expect in a Luxury Vacation Rental in the North Georgia Mountains!
The ceiling to floor wood interior provides warmth and beauty and the spacious covered decks and screened in porches allow you to enjoy your own private view of the river no matter the weather or the season.The main level features the Great Room with vaulted ceilings, a 65" Flat Screen TV, a 2 recliner love seat, sofa and chair, kitchen/dining area, stunning gas log rock fireplace, a King Master Suite with 55" Flat Screen TV and full bathroom. There is a spacious screened in porch as well as deck areas overlooking the river.
Upstairs you will find another King Master with private bath, and private porch overlooking the Toccoa River. There is also a little reading "nook" if you're looking for a place to sneak away and enjoy a good book. On the terrace level there is another bedroom with 2 twin beds complete with 2 pull out trundles to hold all the kids along with another full bathroom.
The game room also located on the terrace level boasts a pool table and a ping pong table for some serious or not so serious tournaments. Step outside and shoot some hoops at the basketball goal or grab a towel and hop in the hot tub for a leisurely soak, just the thing you need before retiring for a good nights rest.
Oh, did somebody bring the marshmallows? Enjoy the fire pit for a true "camp experience", telling stories and doing a little star gazing on a clear night in the mountains. Talk about making some memories! Don't forget Fido, the fenced in side yard and the pet friendly deck will allow your furry family member to enjoy their getaway as much as everybody else!
Now, let's talk about this fabulous River! The Toccoa is known for it's trophy trout and is stocked several times during the year. But fishing isn't all it's know for. Whether you've come to fish, tube, raft or just enjoy being by the water, you've come to the right place. For those that want to fish but not get wet, not a problem. The deck overhanging the river allows for convenient fishing and the 2nd firepit at riverside along with picnic table and grassy area, provides the perfect place to spend an afternoon in the fresh mountain air.
If you get the urge to leave this river paradise, you can take advantage of other nearby attractions like hiking the beautiful trails of North Georgia, biking, Antique and Unique shopping, White Water Rafting, Horseback Riding, Scenic Train Rides and the famous Swan Drive In. And there are some fabulous places to eat in the downtown district as well as riverside. More info on these places in your Cabin Information Book located at the cabin.
Come enjoy the Toccoa River at it's Best! This home is situated on a 1.5 acre lot overlooking 100' of River Frontage. Fishing License is required.
The nightly rental rate is based on 6 people. There is an additional $25. per person per night charge over 6.
