Minimum StayAn excellent location. Close to Candler Mrkt and Fox Bros BBQ as well as other shops in Edgewood and Little Five Points. The owner is very accommodating and each time we come the place transitions to better and better looking each time. Warm, safe and cozy, this place really meets my family's needs being close to Oakhurst/Decatur and surrounds. We love it here! Recommended for: Families with Young Children, Families with Teenagers

Cozy House in Great Neighborhood
Cozy house in a great neighborhood! ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My husband and I along with our two children stayed here for three nights. The apartment was cozy and clean. I really appreciated the full size closet and dresser in the bedroom. It made it easy to unpack and feel at home. I did cook several meals here and found pretty much everything I needed, pots and pans wise. My only suggestion would be a measuring cup and measuring spoons. We found this to be a fantastic location. It was close to downtown Atlanta as well as Decatur. Plus, the neighborhood was great. We enjoyed walking to the land trust and we spent a fair amount of time on the front porch. I would definitely recommend a stay in this comfy apartment! Oakman Date of arrival July 29, 2016

6 miles to Aquarium, 2.5 miles to Emory, 2 miles to Decatur. FULLY equipped kitchen, sheets, towels, hairdryer, soaps/shampoos, snacks, TV with Chromecast, WIFI, laundry, games, books, big comfy front porch, offstreet parking, walk to grocery and restaurants and MARTA. Gardens, chickens, bees (very safe) in backyard. Bedroom queen, living room has pullout Queen size sleeper sofa with pillowtopper foam memory, there's a twin hiding in the closet, great eating area overlooking the gardens and coop at the top of the stairs on the landing. This big house was built in 1918 by the Southern Railway as an upscale boarding house where Northern railroad execs could bring their families and over-winter at what was then the terminus of the rail-line. So it was built as a quad, which means a few things, each apt has a good layout, not chopped up from a once-primary-residence, it's got high ceilings, leaded glass, plaster walls a foot thick, and it's across the street from the old railyard, which is now part of the Beltline. It's a well-put-together space yet welcomes you to settle in. Plenty of walking-to destinations; walk to MARTA train (either Edgewood or Candler Park). Walk to 6 unique restaurants, 2 coffee shops, a local market, some retail. Get a growler from Candler Park Market and pull up a chair and watch what we call 'chicken TV' in backyard. The beehives are safely enclosed in the chicken run. See what's growing, pull some weeds... My coop has been on the Urban Coop Tour lots (and lately, too).NO Roosters live here (or nearby)!!!
