We are walking distance to Treasure Island Boardwalk, John's Pass Boardwalk, beach access, public boat docks, and much more while giving you the privacy and comfort you can't get at a hotel or condo complex.

Large 2 bedroom unit, dedicated parking in the driveway, quiet residential area, double lot with privacy fence, hot tub, beautiful gardens, barbecue grill, and private patio with a table for 4 outdoor dining. Walking distance to Treasure Island Boardwalk, John's Pass Boardwalk, beach access, Gulf of Mexico, InterCoastal Waterway, boat rentals, public boat docks for rent, and much more.
Kitchen with all amenities, dinnerware for 8, almost everything you would need to create a complicated meal (if you need something special, just ask). Pantry stocking services available upon request. Kayak, paddle board, segway, jet ski, boat & bicycle rentals available upon request.

All renters must be a minimum of 21 years of age.

About The Area

Treasure Island is a small Florida resort city on a barrier island, west of St. Petersburg. It’s known for its beaches, including Sunshine Beach & Sunset Beach. The multi-use Treasure Island Beach Trail runs along the shore and is currently in the process of an upgrade making it handicapped accessible. Nearby, the city marina and Treasure Bay Golf & Tennis are on Boca Ciega Bay. Shops and eateries fill John’s Pass Village & Boardwalk in the neighboring community of Madeira Beach. 

Alice's Beach Bungalows is just south of the John's Pass Bridge making Sunshine Beach, John's Pass Marina, and John's Pass Village and Boardwalk an easy walk from the property.  We're only a block south of Gators, Parasail the Pass, and John's Pass waterway.  


 
 
 

 

House Rules

Alice's Beach Bungalows is in a residential area, please be courteous to other residents and guests.  Try to keep noise levels down after 10 pm and before 8 am to avoid disturbing others.  No parties or events that were not approved prior to booking.

Please take care of the property and the things provided for your use.  If something is broken, stained,  or not working properly please let us know so we can replace the item, treat the stain properly, or address the need for repair in a timely manner.  Clean up after yourself, take out the trash, run the dishwasher and disposal before leaving.  

All guests must be included as part of your reservation.  If the size of your party has increased, just reach out to us and if possible, we will make the necessary arrangements.  On some occasions, we may not be able to accept the additional guest(s) due to maximum occupancy.  We may offer you a larger unit if available.

Pets must be approved prior to making your reservation.  Service animals are always welcome with current credentials.  Most dogs under 25 pounds are accepted, many breeds over 25# are excluded by the insurance company.

One dedicated parking spot is allowed for the one bedroom unit, the 2 bedroom unit allows a minimum of 2 dedicated parking spaces-the entire driveway is set aside for your parking needs.  Parking on the street is allowed, do not park the opposite direction that traffic runs or your ticket could be as high as $75 per day. 

Thermostats should be set at 73 degrees or higher when in a cooling mode.  If you need to have a lower temperature just talk to us and we will do our best to accommodate.  This rule is in place because to discourage runing the ac at 65 degrees and leaving the doors wide open, not because we don't want you to be comfortable.   

 

Suitability

This property is suitable for relaxing and enjoying yourselves with or without children. 

We are located in close proximity to the marina, boat slips for rent, boat ramps, the beach and the bay.

All units are one level with no more than 3 steps at any point. 

We provide beach chairs, cooler, and a cart to transport it to your spot on the beach. 

Rentals of kayak, paddleboard, bicycles, and more are available upon request.  

Alternative transportation such as Beach Trolley, Island Hopper, Taxi's, Uber, and Lyft are available.  Many travelers do not get rental cars and use these services only.

What a great little place!

What a great little place! It was perfect for our mini vacation. I can definitely see us booking it for our next trip. The owner was super friendly and easy to work with.

It has everything you need

If you are looking to stay someplace roomy close to the beach this is your place! It has everything you need and is within walking distance to Johns Pass plus the beach is right across the street! Susan the owner has everything you need for a perfect stay. The beach was never crowded and it was so nice and clean. The house was also very clean, there is a patio and private drive to park in. So many restaurants and fun things to do. We had so much fun yet it was so relaxing! We will be back! One fun thing we did that Susan suggested was the Dolphin Speed Boat Racer. It is around 1 1/2 to 2 hour boat ride the dolphins like to play in the wake from the boat so it was fun to see them play and jump! Plus it is a nice cool ride on a hot day. Everyone that we encountered was very friendly. And you must visit Super Scoops Ice Cream shop the ice cream was amazing!

Susan is a wonderful landlord.

Susan is a wonderful landlord. We lacked nothing and she was always available, but never hovering. The cottage had ample space, was quiet and pleasant, had very easy beach access, and is nestled in a quiet neighborhood. Our two shih-tzus loved to romp in the palm-draped backyard and we enjoyed the sunny patios. We would clearly choose this pleasing place again.

The house is very spacious

I stayed at this 2 bedroom bungalow over spring break with my husband and thee kids. Clearly, the pictures do not it justice. The house is very spacious and meticulously clean (with comfortable furniture, a large tv, cable and Wi-Fi). The owner's love of plants is apparent with numerous plants inside and a beautiful back yard filled with tropical plants, as well as a banana and palm tree. We also enjoyed using the hot tub in the backyard. The house is just a short distance to the beach and the owner provides beach chairs (some beach toys) and a cooler to use. The beach is beautiful, with soft white sand inviting you into the water. The owner was extremely helpful and responsive to all questions and ensured that we had a wonderful visit. We felt very fortunate to have discovered this rental property.
