If you prefer, you can just sit on the screened porch overlooking the beautiful St. Marks River and soak up the peaceful solitude of a completely unspoiled environment. As the sun goes down, you will be captivated by the rhythmic melodies of the frogs and crickets, guaranteed to soothe your soul.
We would like to introduce you to our friends, Woody and Kathy Lewis who have over 45 years of experience on the St. Marks River. They are both certified 'Green Guides' and live about a half mile down river from the St. Marks Retreat. They have found kayaks and a canoe, and offer guided tours of the river 'from the basin to the bridge.'
