Wonderful Little Cottage in a Great Location!

We definitely enjoyed our stay at Rose Cottage during our recent trip to St Augustine. There was plenty of room for the three of us and the Cottage had everything we needed for our long weekend visit to the area. The Cottage is located within walking distance of all the great sights to see in this great little city and is in a quiet neighborhood. For those who like to prepare a few meals versus always dining out, the kitchen is stocked with all the necessary pots, pans, dishes, and utensils to do so. We are already planning on returning to Rose Cottage on future visits!

It's all about location

We love St. Augustine and The Rose Cottage is the perfect place for us! Pat and Ty are wonderful hosts and you couldn't ask for a better location. We really don't have to get in the car and drive for anything. It is an older cottage which is what we love about it.

Quaint and Convenient

I brought two young teenage boys to St Augustine and rented Patrica's charming and quaint cottage, which sits behind their house, in the lovely gardens of their home built in the 1850's. She was very helpful when we had requests, and made our stay fun and relaxed. The cottage has two bedrooms and a full bath. The kitchen is fully equipped (except no dishwasher, which we didn't need). The living room was comfortable and the cottage was very clean upon our arrival. Since the weather had some crazy extremes on our visit, I can attest that both the AC and heater in this total electric property operated sufficiently. The location is in a very nice, quiet neighborhood that is a block from the marshes, a block from Ft Castillo, and sits almost adjacent to Ripley's Museum. It is also a block from a trolley stop/welcome center. The trolley was great when we were tired, but the cottage is truly in walking distance to everything from the Old Jail and Fountain of Youth to all the attractions/restaurants in the downtown historic district. St Augustine is not a place that has a lot of parking so it was nice not to have the hassle and expense of parking a car. I would definitely stay here again.
