This place is a perfect get -away right on the water and though very close to everything you'd want to it is quiet and secluded. First time we've ever stayed with an on site host but Jim is the perfect host.....though you will rarely see him he is always available to answer any questions and truly a wonderful guy that you'd want to meet. The house is impeccably clean with all the amenities and then some. Jim has thought of literally everything! Look forward to our next stay.

Clean home, this is perfect!
If you are looking for a beautiful, immaculately clean home, this is perfect! Inside has all been redone and he keeps it pristine. All of the comforts of home, a pool & whirlpool, a beautiful canal out back and only a short drive to beautiful beaches and kayak areas. We visited a few of the beaches, took a kayak tour on Lido Key. Our favorite dinners out were enjoyed downtown at Duvals - excellent seafood! We were so pleased with Jim's home and level of response to any inquiry.

perfect host.
Jim was a perfect host. We met him twice at breakfast and once in the evening, and he was delightful to talk with. The house was very spacious, spotless, and comfortable. Jim provided breakfast and snack goodies, and we had the run of the house except for his private quarters. Nice neighborhood and access to canals and a golf course for walking. The three of us were very happy.

Everything was perfect! We really enjoyed our stay, the house is beautiful, big and very comfortable, we had everything we needed. Jim is a a wonderful person! Clean and spacious, 3/4 of the house is yours, kitchen and laundry, 2 bedroom with 1 and 1/2 bath, pool and spa, on the canal that leads to Sarasota bay, offering morning coffee, light breakfast and an occasional visit from the manatees off the dock.
The space
Bedroom 1, has a double bed, bedroom 2, has a comfortable day bed. Both have flat screen TV's with access to digital TV. Both have large closets with hangers and cupboard space for clothing. 1 and 1/2 bathrooms is yours. Enjoy the living room and kitchen, The pool is yours to enjoy.
Guest access
You will have access to 3/4 of the house, Hang out by the pool, sit on the dock and watch the manatees, if they are in season. You're welcome to bring a boat up to 32ft. water and power is available at the dock. It's only about a 12 minute canal ride to Sarasota Bay's open water. Your boat should not exceed 11 feet high as there is one bridge to cross under. 11.3 at high water mark. Drop the kayaks in the canal and paddle around, lots of canal ways to explore.
Interaction with guests
I live in the back part master suite with an out side entrance off the patio and work locally, Monday to Friday. I come in set up coffee, I am gone from 8 - midnight. But I will help you find your way around and I am available by phone most of the day. I can offer recommendations or just offer some privacy for your relaxation. When you first arrive, I will give you access to the Paddle Boards, Kayaks, safety equipment, beach towels, beach chairs, and a cooler all yours to use. I can arrange for dinners with advanced notice.
The neighborhood
your vacation spot is close to everything, but tucked into a quiet neighborhood for night time relaxation. Only a few minutes to the airport, easy access down the Tammiami trail to all the beaches on the Keys, Siesta, Long boat, Bird, and Ledo. Or go to the new UTC Shopping mall, explore down town Sarasota, they are all short rides. Walking distance to a first class golf course on the next street, Sara Bay Country Club (they offer brunch, a four star restaurant and a driving range).
