We have been coming to Sanibel for the past 20 years, and have always stayed at Loggerhead. The unit we usually stay in was not avilable, as it was recenlty sold, so this was our first time to stay in 282. The first thing we noticed is how modern this unit was compared to the unit we had been staying in. The owner has completely remodeled their unit, adding doors to the bedroom (most units just have a slider partition with no privacy), and opened the kitchen into the rest of the unit. What a difference this makes. The kitchen was absolutely amazing. Spending 3 weeks on vacation, we tend to eat in more often than not, and found every accessory that we would need and then some. The furniture in the family room was very comfortable, and the sleeper sofa was one of the best we have seen. Usually these make for terrible couches and worse beds. Our teenage daughter (19) stayed on the couch and was very happy with it. The 2nd bedroom was perfect for our boys. All of the units are close to the beach, so there was nothing unexpected there. Overall we rate this a 5 star and have decided that this unit will become our new vacation home for the future!

Great Place
My family and I enjoyed our stay here, the condo has everything you could need, plenty of dishes, extra beach towels, movies, games and books. there was even fishing poles, and beach chairs. The bedrooms had comfortable beds. Having a washer and dryer was nice. There was good wifi, was able to do some work while there. Overall the condo was nicely decorated and clean. it was nice being able to walk to and from the beach without bringing a bunch of stuff because we were so close. The beaches are awesome so many shells, sand dollars, and sea stars. walking the beach at night was one of our favorite activities. The island is a beautiful place, with so much to do. This condo is in a great location to get to shopping and other great spots, but is also still so quiet. my kids still want to go back to the condo, and Pinocchio's ice cream is the best. This was one of the best vacations we have had, and will surely be back again, hopefully for more than one week.

Awesome family vacation
I loved the condo and the feeling of being at home when we entered. The separate bathrooms and bed rooms made it very nice for us and our two small kids. Dishes, cookware, utensils were provided this made it nice for family meals. The walk to the beach is short and beautiful. We loved riding bikes around the island and going to the beach. The best part was the short trip back to the comfortable condo. Looking forward to returning to do more sightseeing.

Fantastic Island Condo
Me & my wife visited Sanibel Island again this year and were very happy to stay in this beautiful condo (#282) again. It is beautifully decorated and makes you feel right at home. Everything that you might need is available. The location is wonderful, right on the beach, yet close to town. We have enjoyed staying here at Loggerhead Cay and relaxing on the beach or by the pool and riding bikes around the island and to Captiva. We will definitely be back and I would not stay anywhere else but here! Great Place......!

Luxury Suite 282 is an A++ unit located on the second floor (elevator provided) and can accommodate up to six people. We have furnished and equipped this condo with every convenience to make your vacation perfect.
The master bedroom suite has a king bed, access to the screened lanai, two large closets, and a tub/shower. The master bedroom also has a HD LED TV with cable and BlueRay/DVD Player. If you have your own laptop, we have WiFI and direct network connections available as well.
The guest suite has two Twin Beds, HD LED TV with cable & DVD, and its own private bath with a walk-in shower. It also features a private entrance to the outside. The living room has an HD LED TV with Digital cable, BlueRay/DVD plus a Stereo/CD. There is a sleeper sofa and plenty of seating for your party to play games and enjoy a relaxing time.
The kitchen has all appliances, including oven, stove top range, dishwasher, Keurig Coffee maker, and microwave. All cookware, dishware, towels, and linens are provided. There is a washer and dryer in the unit. There is central air conditioning/heat as well as ceiling fans throughout the condo. Even the screened-in Lanai has a ceiling fan. This unit is also pet friendly (under 25 lbs) and Non-Smoking
