We are a pet free/dander free home.  We cater to families that need (because of asthma or severe allergies) or want an animal-free/dander free home.

Sea 'N Starz is the picture-perfect family beach house that is also completely 'special needs friendly'.  An elevator (free use to our guests)  with access to all floors, extra wide hallways, tiled floors and 3 bathrooms each with a large walk-in/roll-in shower, 2 with tubs, makes this 2800 square foot beauty comfortable and accessible for all.
If you are looking for a vacation property that is only a short walk to the beach, has unobstructed views of the gulf (no homes in front of our house blocking the views, only a vacant lot that we own) , resort style amenities and is ADA wheelchair accessible, then Sea 'N Starz is the beach home for you.

This 2800 sq. ft. home is meticulously maintained.    It has an open, un-clutttered floor plan, 4 bedrooms (all face the gulf and have unobstructed gulf views) including 2 master suites that have extra-large walk-in closets that can easily hold a pack n play, 3 1/2 baths, 2 separate living areas, spacious kitchen w/breakfast bar, over-sized dining area and 780 sq. ft. of outdoor living space on 4 decks including a 10x25 screened in deck off the living room. All back decks, which overlook the large private heated pool, have unbelievable, unobstructed views of the gulf (don't forget to bring your binoculars for dolphin watching) and the 2 decks off the front of the home provide sunset views. All bedrooms and living areas have French doors opening onto the spacious decks.

Other amenities include very dependable WIFI (I have to conduct business while I'm on the Island and reliable WIFI is a must), 50 inch TV in the living room and multiple other TVs/DVDs, cable TV, large private pool (heated for a fee $400) outdoor fish cleaning station, outdoor shower, outdoor deck table, chairs and pool-side loungers, 2 park style barbeque grills, plenty of covered storage, 3 covered parking spaces, room to park a boat, golf cart (for a fee $625), close to the beach, right next to the biking/walking trail, close to the center of the island and stores.  (Check out our numerous reviews on VRBO #491202, but contact us personally through Tripz to keep from paying the large VRBO service fees).

CANCELLATIONS AND RESERVATION CHANGES:  In the event you must cancel, please note that we cannot refund your reservation/security deposit or your advance rental payment unless equivalent revenue is generated from another rental customer for the same time period.  If the property re-rents and generates the equivalent revenue, we will refund your advance payment minus a cancellation fee of $250.  We encourage guests to purchase travel insurance separately and it is strongly recommended.




About The Area

Located just off of Florida's Panhandle Gulf Coast, the 28-mile St. George Island is one of the last inhabited yet unspoiled barrier islands in Florida – and it is a serene family vacation paradise. St. George Island consistently rates as one of the top beaches in the U.S., with miles of uncrowded expanses for sunning and shelling, clear Gulf waters for swimming and fishing, and pristine marshes for wildlife viewing. St. George Island is protected by low-density zoning and strict building codes, making,  St. George Island a tranquil beach community with no high rises or chain stores.

St. George Island is a quiet, laidback small (very small) community.  A third of the Island is State Park.  People who visit are coming for quiet time with family and friends.  Many people come to heal their minds, bodies, and souls.  (There are no go-carts, parasailing, amusement parks, wild nightlife unless of course it actually wildlife).

Favorite things to do on the Island are walking, biking (the Island has a 6.3 mile asphalt and concrete walking/biking trail), shelling, dolphin watching, bird watching, boogie boarding, kayaking, surf fishing, pier fishing in the Bay, reading, playing in the sand, swimming in the gulf (there are no oil rigs here!) and riding around in golf carts (our favorite mode of transportation).   You can be as active or inactive as you want.  The beach is a natural beach which means no one comes along raking the sand for imperfections.  It also means that it is a turtle nesting haven and you will see turtle nests all along the beach during nesting season. 

There are a few restaurants on the Island, but most people like to grill and cook because like anywhere, it is expensive to eat out all the time.  There is a small Piggly Wiggly grocery store on the Island that carries a wide variety of essentials with fresh fruits and veggies, a deli where you can get sandwich meats, fresh cut steaks, chicken, pork and even fresh locally caught fish or have them steam you some fresh shrimp. 

Apalachicola is 15 minutes away.  It is an amazing historical town, established in 1821, that has restaurants, shopping and is a great place to walk around.  A large Piggly Wiggly that has an amazing selection is located there also.

Hope this helps you out.  For some people, this is not their idea of a vacation, but that's OK.  The world would be a boring place if we were all alike.




Sea N Starz is a completely wheelchair accessible home, which makes it perfect for those with loved ones who need to use manual or electric wheelchairs.  It has a large elevator that services all floors, tile floors throughout, wide hallways and a very large bathroom with roll n shower.

Beautiful, clean and spacious property for two families

This is our second stay at Sea N Stars in St. George Island. I wouldn't want to go anywhere else! This home has beautiful decks with views of the Gulf. The entire house is spacious and beautifully decorated. We love the pool and pool deck with a short walk to the beach. The kitchen has everything you could want. The owners are incredibly wonderful to work with. We have introduced two different families to this incredible property and everyone is in love! So many features this house has that set it apart from others! Outdoor shower and fish cleaning station, outdoor grills for grilling the fresh fish we caught, two living rooms, two master suites and second floor laundry. The kids love the bunk beds! I highly recommend this property and we will definitely stay here again when we visit St. George Island! It is a vacation full of memories with family and friends.
