One of a kind circa 1887 Victorian, that has recently undergone renovation, is the perfect place for a romantic getaway or family/friends reunion in any season.
The private backyard is large enough to host events such as a small wedding or an intimate reunion for a party of up to 15 people. There are 6 bedrooms with a king, queen and full size beds and two additional rooms that can be used at the discretion of the guests. All rooms are distinctive in their layout and individual decor.
Dating back to 1887, the house combines the atmosphere of 19th century with the modern comforts. It has 2 full bathrooms, heat and air-conditioning with individual climate control units in each room, a formal dining room with a large marble top table, breakfast/coffee area, and 2 stunning fireplaces. Additionally, there is a fully furnished kitchen that includes basic cooking appliances as well as a coffeemaker, popcorn maker, ice-cream maker, a toaster etc. There is an outdoor exit from the kitchen into a porch area with grill.
While surrounded by various cafes, restaurants and event venues, our house sits private and serene.
When arriving to stay, guests park their cars under the carport and get an immediate taste for Saint Augustine's unique atmosphere and architecture. Up to 4 cars can be parked along the driveway and in front of the house. Parking is always complimentary to our guests.
The house is located within short walking distance to the old St. George Street, Flagler College, the 17th-century fort Castillo de San Marcos, many fine restaurants, pastry cafes, night bars, pubs, art galleries, carriage tours, and the waterfront. Most of the sites are only a 5- to 10-minute stroll from the house.
The Vilano Beach is only 5 minutes away (which is a more private well maintained beach with car access). St. Augustine beach is approximately 7 minutes away.
There are so many things to do in our area: boating, surfing, paddleboarding, fine dining, museum, golfing, fishing, kite-flying, antiquing, birdwatching, just to name a few! The area also offers unique tasting adventures such as a local chocolatier, a winery, and a distillery (with daily free wine tasting).
Located on Florida's Atlantic coast, St. Augustine is a rich cultural center, with special events, quality performances, fairs, and celebrations in and around the old city and its beaches.
