A beautiful oasis away from it all. We had a most enjoyable vacation with beautiful weather every day. The beach is almost private, we only saw two other people on the beach while we were there. The kids loved running along the waters edge and watching the dolphins. Cocktails on the Crows Nest was very relaxing. It was very nice that there is Direct TV so the kids can watch TV while the adults prepared meals. The kids also loved the bunk bed room downstairs. We also had our own private dock to keep our boat, which was an added benefit. Make sure to bring your fishing poles. There is great fishing at the nearby dock or from the beach. Thank you for a wonderful stay Ash! We will be back (soon).

Great visit to LGI!
The Coconut Palace has everything you need for a great stay on Little Gasparilla Island. We didn't have a golf cart, so trips back and forth to the boat dock were a bit tough, but its an easy walk to the beach! We came on our own boat, and being a Holiday weekend, the dock was very crowded, but everyone was very nice a worked together to fit all the boats. The house was clean, ready and equipped with all the easentials including beach chairs and umbrellas! We'll deifitely stay here again.

Wonderful beach cottage with great outdoor space
Our family loved staying at the Coconut Palace! The outdoor space is amazing - our kids loved hanging out on the downstairs deck, playing in the yard, and watching the sunset from the crow's nest. Ash also helped make our arrival easy. We were met at the dock by two helpers with a golf cart who helped us take our baggage and groceries right to the house. The house is perfectly located, close to the beach, but also not too far from the Intercoastal and dockside of the island. We can't wait to come back. Thank you Ash!

This beautiful, two-story house is the perfect get away to escape your busy life. The main living area has two bedrooms, two full bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a beautiful, new dining room and living room with queen sized pull out sofa bed. Sliding glass doors lead out to a screened in porch for relaxing and enjoying the natural habitat of the island. Enjoy the breath taking views of Little Gasparilla's beautiful, serene beach from the Crow's Nest while enjoying your morning coffee watching the sunrise or cocktails watching the sunset.

Amenities include AC/Heat, Direct TV, DVD player, board games, blender, coffee maker, a fresh 5 gallon water dispenser, linens/towels, blow dryer, washer, dryer, gas/charcoal grill, beach chairs and beach umbrella.
Little Gasparilla offers privacy and tranquility and a rare sense of peace not found at many Florida vacation spots. Many days you can walk the beach for hours without seeing another soul. Yet island neighbors are friendly and always willing to offer a helping hand. There is a quaint island chapel which offers non-denominational services from time to time and which has been the site of memorable island weddings. Also, golf cart rentals are available on the island for scenic tours but many people prefer to walk the sandy pathways.
Little Gasparilla Island is only accessible by boat. The Pirates Water Taxi (941-697-5777) is available for approximately $40 round trip per couple (prices subject to change). Parking is available at Eldred's Marina for $6 a day (prices subject to change). Eldred's Marina is located at 6301 Boca Grande Causeway, Placida, FL 33946. Please pay for your parking and place your parking pass in your vehicle's windshield before catching the water taxi to the island. If you arrive after dark and the marina is closed, please contact them the next day at 941-697-1431 to make arrangements to pay for parking.
Upon arrival, you will be greeted by the owner or a representative with a golf cart to take your luggage to the property. Please schedule arrival time ahead of time with the owner as well as departure time to help you back to the boat. The renter is responsible for contacting the Pirate's Water Taxi upon arrival and departure (this should be done two weeks in advance to ensure transportation).
