Walk to shopping, restaurants and even concert events in Aaron Bessant and Frank Brown parks. A fisherman's paradise awaits on the city pier located literally next door to Calypso. This condo unit is on the 17th floor and comes with nine foot ceilings with crown-molding, granite countertops, GE appliances, in-unit washer and dryer laundry, ceramic tile flooring in the kitchen and bathrooms, and living room. Carpet in bedrooms. Plus free wi-fi access and ROKU streaming on the living room TV. DVD's (plus Redbox in lobby), board games, and jigsaw puzzles available in unit. Portable beach chairs and sand toys available in the condo for easy access and use. Please no smoking or pets allowed.
Enjoy the sound of the beach from the spacious living room that has a full pull-out sleeper sofa. Do not forget the balcony with the beautiful views. The master suite comes with a king-size bed and access to the balcony. The guest suite offers a queen-size bed with personal access to the main bathroom. This condo has a bunk room with twin size beds that is perfect for the kids.
This beautiful resort offers tropical landscaping, beachfront Tiki Bar, 2 outdoor pools (one heated seasonally), beach access with showers and shoe cubbies, 3rd floor fitness facility, conference room, and Air-conditioned walk-over to free multi-level covered parking garage. We have the best balcony for fireworks lit right off the city pier outside Calypso. If you are lucky enough to stay during July 4th, Pirates of the Open Seas festival, or New Years Eve then you are in for a real show. During Spring and Summer months, Adventures at Sea company has a kiosk in front of our condo on the beach which offers SUP paddle board and kayak rentals, banana boat, parasailing, and wave-runners. They also offer daily and weekly beach loungers approx $50/day for set of 2. Please note that I offer portable beach chairs in the unit that you can set up anywhere on the beach for free!
Pier Park shopping with restaurants, bars, boutiques and national stores all within walking distance. Pier Park (a Simon mall) includes Dave and Busters, Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville, Tootsies Bar and music, Rum Runners restaurant with dueling pianos entertainment, Ron Jon's Surf Shop, Dillard's, JC Penny's, Old Navy, Victoria's Secret, Simply Southern, Tervis, , Starbucks Coffee, Target, Wal-Mart, Longhorns Steakhouse, Olive Garden, Brass Tap, Chipolte, The Grand 16 Theatre with IMAX, a kids amusement park, a doctors walk-in clinic, and so much more.
Also, the new Pier Park North completed in 2015 is located just across Back Beach Road (aka Hiway 98) with Fresh Market, Rooms to Go, Michaels, Dicks Sporting Goods, IHOP, Kirklands, Pier 1 Imports, World Market, Verizon, Texas Roadhouse, Chili's, the Craft Bar at Wine World, and many more.
Since everything you need at Pier Park/Pier Park North is within a one mile radius, you have no need to hire a car as the airport is only 13 miles away with taxi/shuttles available. You can hire a golf cart (literally across the street) at Snappy Turtle for a day or even 3 hour rental during peak season. Golf carts are permitted along Front Beach Road outside Calypso and around Pier Park/Pier Park North (using Pier Park Drive traffic lights). Golf carts are NOT permitted on Back Beach Road/Hiway 98 except to cross over at Pier Park Drive intersection.
For availability, click on the calendar icon and check your desired dates. A $300 booking deposit will hold your reservation with the balance due 30 days before your arrival. Weekly rentals during summer months with Saturday check-in and check-out, but will consider shorter stays. There is a four-night minimum stay during other periods.
