As a Fort Lauderdale local, I hand selected this Lauderdale Beach neighborhood, nestled in between the high-end shops and restaurants on Las Olas Blvd and the Old Florida charm of Lauderdale-by-the-Sea.
Casa Carmela is 50 steps to the sand as it is located one house across the street from the ocean… You can literally walk to the water within 2 minutes from your front door! Shorts Beach is known for its Caribbean sounds and wide open beaches perfect for scuba diving, boating, surfing, kite surfing, kayaking, paddle boarding, and who can forget sunbathing every now and then for a little rest. There are also a number of great restaurants and shops all within walking distance.
Having traveled around the world for business, I have been fortunate to visit many beautiful hotels and properties. As a result, we designed our homes with the same 5 star experiences I was lucky to enjoy and wanted our guests to experience.
This chic 3 bedroom and 2 bath beach bungalow features beautiful and plush linens, select comfort mattresses, walk-in closets, stainless steel appliances, big and bright windows, and much more to make your stay comfortable. One bedroom has with two twin beds, one with a king size bed, and the last bedroom has two queen size beds. Additionally, the sofa in the living room turns into a sleeper sofa if a guest wants even more privacy and/or you need to accommodate more folks during your visit. The master bath has a tub/shower combo and the cabana bath has a shower. Each bedroom has its own plasma TV complete with all the channels you love to watch. This home is great for entertaining as you have so many options! From the cozy living room with a fireplace, to the Art Deco influenced, open kitchen with circular bar, sit back, relax and watch the pink sunsets. If you prefer to entertain outside, join your friends for happy hour around the tropical pool, which is surrounded by palm trees and indigenous South Florida plants inspired by some of the swankiest outdoor pool areas in South Beach. Either way, this amazing home has it all.
