Has a small working kitchen with professional appliances and adequate refrigerator space!!

3. PARKING & FREE AMENITIES: 2 adult bikes, wagon and commercial carrier to carry chairs/toys/beach items to the beach. Garage Parking belongs to this carriage house. It is not used by main house guest and keyed for only the carriage house guest

4. HOME DESIGN allows the carriage house to enjoy the outdoor courtyard and a traffic pattern that takes them out St. George’s Lane to a quick walk to the beach, coquina pool, or playground. The only thing that the carriage house guest shares with the main house is the gas grill. The main house, unlike many homes at Rosemary Beach with a main house and carriage house, orients away from the carriage house to the north and west and has 1250 square foot of porches to enjoy that face away from the carriage house. There never is a problem, as the traffic pattern for main house is out to the west onto Round Rd then to beach or pool. The main house guest parks on the street and they store their things on main house porch. The houses both have privacy and different traffic pattern.

The Creole Cottage is designed as a carriage house, but with a surprisingly spacious feeling. A superb architectural design leaves our guest with the feel of a true cottage where there is plenty of living space for a couple or a couple with one or two children. The unique features of this home are an open living/dining area with a traditional full staircase to the loft, which allows all age groups to easily access the loft and its living area safely. This design sets the Creole Cottage apart from other carriage houses in Rosemary Beach which have a ladder, spiral staircase, or alternating staircase to access the loft.

The Creole Cottage has 745 square feet of living area. It features a double garage on the first level with an outdoor shower. The second floor features a wrap-around balcony, a living/dining area with a queen sleeper sofa with commercial frame and memory mattress, a table for four, an entertainment center with 40" flat screen TV/DVD/APPLE TV, kitchen with professional appliances, and bathroom (shower only)with laundry area ( washer and dryer) A traditional full staircase leads to the third floor loft which has a queen bed, arm chair, and 33" flat screen TV/DVD/APPLE TV with headphones. We have cable fast wireless free wifi.

One can actually cook if they want in style. This sets itself apart from other carriage houses as well. All professional stainless steel appliances which includes a large built in Northland refrigerator/freezer, Gagganau 4 burner gas cook top, Gagganau dishwasher, Bertazzoni built in convection oven, microwave, extra large sink that if you need to bath the baby in can!!!

Outside, the Cottage has its own private outdoor shower with hot water, a large gas grill, and table with 4 chairs in the courtyard. The guests of this carriage house do not share parking with the main house guest. The guest in this cottage has their own private parking and storage for themselves in the garage. The grill is shared with main house, but that's it as the main house has their own 1250 square foot of porches oriented away from the carriage house where they stay and allows the carriage house to have the courtyard for their private enjoyment. The main house has its own outdoor shower as well, so each house has their own.

This carriage house designed to exit south onto St. George's Lane. The main house has total different traffic pattern and exits to the west onto Round Rd. These houses rent easily separately providing privacy and enjoyment for different parties without any problems. The main house guest stores their beach items and bikes on the north and west sides of the main house, which is away from the carriage house.

This house has awesome location on the southeast side of Rosemary Beach on the gulf side, just less than 1 min walk from the beach walkover and less than 30 sec walk to the Coquina Pool. It is about a 2 min walk to the indoor sky pool. It comes with 2 cruiser beach bikes without gears which is a savings of up to $55 to $70 per bike per week plus taxes for the week or $20 a day per bike plus tax.

You have access to all the 4 pools and the beach. All the pools are heated in off season. The handicap accessible beach walkover is closest to the house. The house comes with a wagon to carry things or stroll children to the beach. Beach Walkover A is closest to this house at Rosemary Beach and it is handicap accessible so you stroll the wagon, and children right to the beach. No need to carry things up the center of the beach walkover with steps unless you want to!!!

Perfect beach stay!

The Creole Cottage was recommended to us 2 years ago by some mutual friends, and we've now enjoyed 2 years in a row of perfect beach vacations! The location is PERFECT, especially for a small family with children. It's 1 block (small block, maybe just one house really) to the shady park, one block to a gorgeous pool, and possibly 2 blocks to the beach. The owner is extremely responsive and helpful, and provides above-and-beyond amenities and services. The cottage is clean as can be and has all the comforts of home, including a well stocked kitchen, bathroom, and washer/dryer combo. The private entrance to the courtyard is a huge plus, too. Great for grilling, showering off the sandy beach, and enjoying some quiet outdoor space. We didn't get in our car once all week.

Superb Carriage House

I've been visiting Rosemary Beach for ten years and have stayed in a number of rentals on the property. Deciding to book a last minute trip, I found Creole Cottage. Gayle could not have been more accommodating and even personally showed up the morning of our arrival to make sure everything was perfect. The layout was ideal for two of us, especially the kitchen, which had everything we needed to cook and prepare 2-3 meals each day. That is rare. She responded immediately when we reported one of the bikes had a flat and another was quickly provided. Property location is within a 3 minute walk ( 2 if you're in a hurry) and the queen bed was so comfortable. I'll definitely stay on this property again and we're even planning to bring our family down and book the Plantation home soon. Thanks for creating lasting memories a great experience Gayle!

Love the Creole Cottage!

We have stayed at the cottage 3 times over the last several years. We love staying at Gayle's properties because they are always so well maintained and appointed. The Cottage and Plantation House location couldn't be any better. Just steps away from the beach and walking distance to all points in Rosemary Beach. We will be staying again next month and can't wait!

Late Summer Getaway to Rosemary Beach

This property is located a very short stroll to Walkover A (Easternmost walkover in Rosemary Beach) and the Coquina Pool. Walkover A is nice since it is one of only a few walkovers at Rosemary Beach with stairs and a ramp, perfect for rolling the provided wagon down to the ocean loaded with chairs, umbrella, cooler, beach bag, etc. I would definitely give the location an "A". The Cottage itself is very well appointed with appliances in the kitchen and a nice washer and dryer in the good-sized bathroom. The TV's are modern and the furniture is comfortable. In fact, the pull-out couch feels like a normal bed, as it has been upgraded in some way. The included bikes were an added feature that is a must when visiting this area. There are so many great places to see via bike. The biking/jogging path along 30-A is a great place to exercise. Most importantly, the unit was very clean, sometimes tough to do at the beach. The owner seems to try very hard to keep it that way and the upkeep of the unit was terrific. The Cottage can easily accommodate a family of four, but was also perfect for a couple getting away for a week. We will definitely return to stay again in the future. Thank you, Gayle for making sure our stay was great.
