The view was spectacular. We could see shooting stars all-night long from the Ocean view roof top deck and dolphins with the sunrise just in a few steps away. The house was stunning and more beautiful that we expected. It was clean with many amenities. Kitchen have all utensils and even all the spices!!! The screened porch was a plus because the expected rain we had lots of indoor games. Absolutely love it. I will recommend this property for big families. Everyone enjoyed my daughter's 30th birthday. ;)))

Perfect place to relax and enjoy the beach!
Our family of 4 absolutely loved our stay at Brian and Kathy's beach house! I only wish we could have stayed longer. We felt like we were staying at our own place...very relaxed and comfortable home. The walk to the beach was nothing at all (basically in the back yard), and the house had everything we needed to take with us to enjoy our time out there. There are boogie boards, beach chairs, sand toys, and beach blankets, and even a beach cart to haul it all in! We spent so much time enjoying the beach we didn't even put the kayak to use in the river...maybe next time. The beach was extremely quiet. We were almost always the only family out there, much different from the areas around the condos where you could tell there were large crowds. We also enjoyed spotting manatees in the river at Bethune Beach Park, and drove just a couple miles south to Canaveral National Seashore where we saw more manatees and a couple of dolphins! And you can't miss JB's Fishcamp for an incredible meal on the deck overlooking the river! Overall, we just absolutely loved it here. The home was very clean and a lot of areas have been nicely updated. The rooftop deck was such a beautiful place to watch the waves and take in the sunrise/sunset! There is also a market just a couple miles to the north, so a very convenient spot to grab anything you might have forgotten. Just bring some good food and bottle of wine and you're all set for a wonderful stay at the beach! Thank you Brian and Kathy for making this place available to travelers like us. I think this was the perfect way to introduce our boys to the ocean!!

Great family/multiple family vacation home
If you are looking for a larger family or multi-family home on a quiet beach for your vacation, this is the place for you. The house is clean and comfortable (had a very lived-in feel) and had fun beach decorations. The bonus is a large downstairs area with bunk beds and a game room/tv room which are teenage boys loved claiming as their own. The roof-top deck is spacious and has room to sunbath and picnic with amazing views of the ocean and sunrise/sunset and, if you are lucky, a group of dolphins swimming along the coast--incredible! There is also a screened-in porch that was so pleasant to sit in and enjoy the outdoors without the bugs. The owner is extremely helpful, accommodating, and responsive and even sent us a packet of info. about the area, things to do, and places to eat. We loved taking the kayak that the owner has to the Bethune park area about a mile or so from the house to see Manatee and dolphin close up. Also, to have access to beach chairs, sand toys, boogie boards and a grill was great for our family. And you can't beat being a block away from the beach for the price! We definitely enjoyed our stay and appreciate the owner's hospitality!

Short walk to great seafood and cold drinks. Shorter walk to great fishing and a family of Manatees you can swim with, as wall as Dolphins feeding in the lagoon. Canaveral National Seashore and boat ramp just down the road.
Amenities: Ocean view roof top deck with umbrella and picnic table over looking the ocean. Screened in dining area and porch. Downstairs kids bunk room, sleeps four, has foosball, Ping Pong, TV, VCR and games. House includes a river Canoe, Ocean Kayak, Bikes, Beach chairs and sand toys. Pets considered.
Things to do near by: Walk to Manatees and Dolphin in the lagoon, bay fishing, bait shop, and JB's Fish Camp for oysters, crabs, cold beer and glorious sunsets. Two miles to Canaveral National Seashore and the best fishing in Florida. Search for sea shells on the beach or walk it at night and you may see a mother sea turtle laying her eggs or a nest hatching.
