My husband and I have been coming to Naples for more than twenty (20) years. I found out that I had some time off in December/January. We needed a place to relax. A place where we could feel at home. When we arrived, we felt comfortable and at peace. The decor was tastefully done. Everything was provided. We only needed food and wine to complete our stay. The bedrooms are more than comfortable. The pool is exquisite. The neighbors are friendly (especially Cooper, the Chocolate Lab). Once we got our bearings, everything was only a short drive away. We can't wait to return. We hope to make it an annual trip. My Birthday, Christmas and New Year's in this beautiful place...What more could anyone hope for? I cannot think of a better place to enjoy the beauty of Naples.

wonderful Villa Mermaid
Our Vacation at Villa Mermaid was amazing.The first impression when we entered the house was, it was very very clean. So much light thru all the windows and the spacious well furnished rooms. The kitchen had everything in it what you needed, plus all the spices and papergoods. The terrace with the exclusive pool is fantastic and so peaceful. We had breakfast there every morning. The neighborhood is very quiet and all the neighbors were very friendly. Driving to downtown Naples, Tin City, Beach and shopping took only a few minutes. We have been renting many vacation properties before this one, but I will say that Villa Mermaid was the cleanest we ever rented and the assistance with the rental process we received from the owners was exceptional. I hope to get the chance to rent Villa Mermaid again soon. Thank you Claudia & Rainer for sharing your wonderful house with us.

Lovely, Comfortable Home
What struck me was how comfortable I felt in this home the minute we walked in the door. It has everything you need: hairdryer, beach towels, coffee maker, utensils and bakeware, spices, tissues - you name it. It is bright, cheery, light and breezy and I didn't want to leave. If I had a complaint, it would be the master bed. It was not very comfortable for us. This would not deter me at all from returning and I hope the owner doesn't hold this against me. :) Just being honest! The neighbors were friendly, and it was so quiet. We saw lots of avian wildlife swimming and flying by which was very cool. And the sounds at night are unbelievable! Anyone who decides to stay here will not be disappointed!

A perfect holiday...
our stay at the villa Mermaid II was really amazing. First of all, the listing description and the photos are all accurate if not understated. The house is light flooded, tastefully furnished and very, very clean. The pool and the outdoor area offer a great and relaxed atmosphere. The kitchen is well equiped and very spacious and the rooms make you feel at home immedately. Furthermore, my husband and I were really pleased by the owners support and assistance. They promptly answered all questions we had and gave us plenty of good tips for restaurants, beaches and places of excursions. So we really felt in good hands... I can only recommend a stay at the villa Mermaid II. It offers the best value that we've had in Florida so far - and we've already been there quite often. I already passed this insider tip to all my friends and my husband and I already booked a second stay. Villa Mermaid offers more than a comparable property, it aims to be a home for your undiluted and individual enjoyment of your vacation. Villa Mermaid II offers 3 bedrooms (Master with ensuite), 2 spacious living rooms (living and family room), 1 dining room, 1 breakfast nook, 1 library (fax, hp printer and of course WLAN), 2 bathrooms, 1 laundry room, a two-car garage with beach equipment as well as a spacious covered lanai with direct access to the heatable pool and 3 bicycles.Publix Supermarket is about a mile away and the Walk-in Clinic is next to the HESS gas station which is right around the corner of Crown Pointe Community.
The location of Villa Mermaid II has several convincing advantages. The Community Crown Pointe East is located a few minutes away from the heartbeat of 5th Street and is therefore closely connected to the city center. The Crown Pointe Community is very quiet and well-kept with tennis courts, clubhouse, a modern gym and a large swimming pool as well as generous bike lanes.
Villa Mermaid II is located in a cul-de-sac with a southern exposure on a lake. Sun in the morning and sun in the evening and the large windows extend the open-plan living area of 1900 squarefeet. Instead of furnishing the light flooded rooms with dark and wooden furniture we decided to underline the overall brightness of the Villa with light interior and a few antique collectables. The copious layout creates individual open spaces and undreamt scopes.
About The Area
Naples is number 5 concerning the US ranking and Review publications as the highest valued mainland location regarding “most relaxed” and “secured beaches”. Only a few Caribbean and Hawaiian beaches received a higher evaluation. In general, Florida is known for its high standards regarding its garden architecture, but Naples with its avenues and boulevards planted with centuries- old trees and its creative landscaping is outstanding and unique and is an important feature of this very special area.
The small town with the most irresistible charm as the New York Times has put it with the highest growth of population from year to year which is due to convincing and beautiful infrastructure. The Mediterranean flair on Third and Fifth Street is visible throughout its exclusive gastronomy, its va riety of art galleries, boutiques, lifestyle shops as well as street decoration which is relaxing and soothing at the same time. Naples is known for its casual elegance, its unobtrusive architecture and the friendliness of its citizens.
