Step out the back of the building on to a wide promenade part of the nature trail (walk, jog, run, roller skate, bike, etc.) that starts on 5th street (by the Causeway) and goes south by the Miami Beach Marina, Monty's Sunset, to the lighthouse on South Pointe Park, and east by the channel connecting Biscayne Bay to the Atlantic Ocean where Cruise Ships parade by the closest, to the South Beach Fishing Pier where the views are just spectacular, and north on the trail or the white sands of Miami Beach, all the way up the east coast, with the Atlantic Ocean on your right and the famous Miami Beach Hotel Row on your left.
