Date of Stay: 06/02/12 Review Submitted: 06/28/12 The Trump International was a GREAT place to stay. We really really liked it. I loved all the pampering that they gave you. Granted, you felt obligated to tip but didn't mind since the staff was soooo great. The beach was super awesome. Normally I'm a pool girl, but at this beach I was an ocean queen. The water was soooo clear you could see straight to the bottom. Up at the pool they had free samples of smoothies, fruit, drinks, ice cream. The room was nice. Didn't realize you were 28 floors up. We took binoculars with us and you could see all the way down to downtown. We drove down to South Beach for the day and were not really impressed. Too crowded and somewhat run down looking unlike the Trump where everything was nice. There were people from all around the world there and everyone spoke another language but that didn't stop people from trying to communicate with each other on the beach. We met wonderful people from Brazil. It was just a really really nice resort. Recommended for:Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, romantic getaway, people with disabilities, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.
