Great Place with Beautiful Views
We loved the place and the fact that we could drive an hour or a bit more to be in Key West or in Key Largo and anyplace in between. Great place to land for a few days and take day trips to the places you want to visit in the keys. Nearby beaches are worth a visit and plenty of good eats nearby too. Clean and modern location. Highly recommend.

Great accommodations and location
Beautiful setting on a private beach. You can't swim but it is very peaceful and relaxing. We tend to be out and about doing things so we were not there much. The accommodations were great. Perfect size for the two of us to feel comfortable. Kitchen well stocked with everything you need to cook. Our only "complaint" would be the pillows. The property manager, Rhonda, is just a wonderful person and made us feel right at home!

Great vacation spot!
This place was perfect for the 4 of us (all adults). We've stayed in Marathon before so we knew what to expect, area wise. The beach house had incredible views day and night. Lovely strong breeze. Inside was very clean and comfortable, had every amenity needed/wanted. The decor was inviting. The shower had hot water and plenty for all of us and then some. As mentioned before in reviews, check house supplies before making a store run. Not much was needed for cooking essentials (spices/oils), coffee, condiments etc. Rhonda the caretaker, how can I express my appreciation for her. She was AWESOME. Friendly, knowledgeable, great stories, hilarious, just an all around wonderful person. We will miss her greatly. She is a keeper there. Definitely go to the S.S Wreck and Galley restaurant for a piece of Key Lime Pie. It is to die for. The best I ever had, thanks Rhonda. We took the kayaks out to the 'rock, bird hangout, point' and saw a few baby sharks, crabs, and fish while snorkeling. The water was warm and clear. You can walk out there if you wanted to. It is not deep enough for swimming unless you go past that point. We collected coconuts for the water/meat around the area. My only complaint is not really a complaint but more of a friendly suggestion. I know the sea grass is beyond control with it washing ashore, but boy is it smelly! That reeks up the whole outside. And tons of it all over the beach. At first the smell was unbearable and we minimized our time outside, but we got used to it after a couple of days. After the sun dries it out, it is not too terrible. If there was a way to regularly clear it off the beach or something to keep it under control/off the beach. At least to a bearable minimum. That would be more appealing to the eyes, nose and feet. All in all this place was great and exceeded our expectations. Definitely a little piece of paradise and I can see why you enjoy it so much for your family. Thank you for sharing it with us. We would love to come back.

A little piece of paradise
What a lovely place to get out of the rat race for a few days. You're literally right on the beach (I wouldn't swim there, but you can certainly walk out quite a ways), there's always a very strong breeze, the apartment was quite comfortable and well-equipped, and it's close to "town" but not in "town" so it's quiet and relaxing. Hope to come back someday.
