We enjoyed everything about the house! Much bigger that what you see on the pictures! The beach is around the corner! My kids and my family really had a wonderful time! I definitely will go again next summer! Highly recommend this house!

A wonderful vacation paradise for a family- It was perfect!
We had an amazing week with our family in this home. It is a beautiful home with a wonderful open floor plan and plenty of room for our family of 8. We really enjoyed the large eating area and the pool! We loved the backyard! The beach and many amenities are steps away and any questions we had while in the home were answered very quickly. Fantastic house

Luxurious comfortable home!
Our family rented this property with a total of nine people. It was a great home located near the beach and many restaurants. The house was very nice and equipped with many things needed on a beach vacation. The backyard was very private with a great pool and hot tub! I would definitely recommend this property for a family fun vacation home!

Dream come true
This was a dream family vacation and the first time ever leasing a vacation home. This is a beautiful home with plenty of room and all the amenities one would ever need. Beautiful neighborhood and a minute walk to beautiful quiet beaches. Twenty minutes from airport. Can't wait to return!

Perfect home, perfect size and great amenities!
We were 4 adults and 4 children and the home could not have been more perfect. The floorplan was open and all the amenities were updated and higher end. Our parents lived in the condo's next door do location was wonderful, access to restaurants were ideal. We'd highly recommend this property for quiet family vacation.

The home is perfectly located one block to the beach and walking distance to restaurants and shopping.
You can catch the water taxi (a 5 minute walk from the home) at the NEW SHOOTERS located on the water way that will take you as far as Miami and West Palm Beach. The water taxi can also take you to many featured spots, like Las Olas. You can see more of the local attractions by using the virtual tour on this page.. Use the Tools feature to see the local attractions on the google map. There are also several churches and Synagogues to chose from in this area. Garage has a ping pong table for your enjoyment.
The house is located approximately 20 minutes by car from Fort Lauderdale International Airport.
The house is in a very safe and secure neighborhood. It is situated on Galt Ocean Mile, where there are million dollar + homes. There are primarily families and retired couples in the area. There are a fair number of Montrealers and in fact the local pizza parlor (with excellent pizza) is owned from someone from Montreal.
In fact, we have two teenage children as well, and we wanted to make sure that our home was in a very safe neighborhood as this is our home away from home.
The house is ideal for families or groups as there are three seperate bedrooms that can accomodate up to 10 people in total, each bedroom with Flat Screen TVs with NETFLIX and wifi throughout the house. It is a two minute walk to the beach with no highways to cross. Beach chairs, beach towels, cooler are included.
The living area has a sectional with 2 swivel chairs, a wall unit with 55" flat screen TV. A beautiful large piece of modern art that feels like a vision from under the Caribbean is mounted above the sectional. The design is a mix of modern, primitive and organic. A large natural jute carpet by Ralph Lauren ties in all the seating areas. Kitchen has a total of 7 bar stools. Kitchen is open to large dining room with a table with seating for 8 - 10 people. There is an 8' slider that leads to the pool area. This room gets plenty of natural sunlight. All windows in the home have electronic hurricane shutters and window treatments.
The kitchen is fully equipped for gourmet cooking and entertaining. Here you will find stainless steel appliances including a wine cooler and gourmet coffee station with espresso machine.
There is a powder room and full bathroom located off the dining room area. There is a twin bedroom with set of bunk beds with a trundle and a single twin with a flat screen TV. This room sleeps 3 - 4. Across from this room is the queen bedroom with a trundle and a flat screen TV. This room sleeps 2 - 3.
The master bedroom holds a king bed with a large walk in closet, sleeper sofa, 2 night stands, large dresser and flat screen TV.
The master bedroom is providing a double vanity complete with lighted medicine cabinets, large free glass enclosed free standing shower and a succulent soaking tub.
The back patio has a large heated pool with attached jacuzzi that is heated to 85F. This area is perfect for the family to entertain under the pergola where you can grill and dine at the large dining table. There are chaise lounges around the pool for those sun worshippers looking to get a beautiful Florida tan and additional comfortable seating areas. There is an outdoor shower for guests to use to remove their tanning oils and sand before going into the pool or hot tub. The powder room has a door that allows guests to gain access from this pool area without having to go into the home.
The beach is located just a one minute walk from this house with no streets to cross. There is PING PONG TABLE in the garage for those days where you wish to play a game of table tennis.

About The Area
The home is located close to the famous Hugh Taylor Birch Park. This park is an oasis of tropical hammocks-a gift from Hugh Taylor Birch to Florida's posterity. His former estate preserves four distinct natural communities, nestled between the Atlantic Ocean and the Intracoastal Waterway. Visitors can rent a canoe and paddle along a mile-long freshwater lagoon or fish from the seawall. Nature lovers can hike along two short trails and learn about local plants and wildlife while bicyclists and skaters glide along the paved park road. Visitors can access the beach via the pedestrian tunnel under A1A. Picnic areas overlook the channel; pavilions with water and electricity are available for rental. A group/youth campground is available to organized groups. The Terramar Visitor Center features displays regarding the area's natural and cultural history.
